2:02 that’s probably the best style for a fingerboard kick flip I’ve ever seen, the back finger/foot catch is not as natural on a fingerboard as it is on a skateboard. I love that so much
I am 30+ years old family man and was only riding Tech Dechs when I was a kid. Three years ago I found out about pro fingerboards and it immediately brought back memories and became my new hobby. Now I own over a dozen completes, all sort of trucks/wheels and accesories and using fb’s quite often Although I am quite good when it comes to basic tricks like Ollie and Ollie to slides - I could never really control my flips. I’d be lucky to hit 3 kickflips in a row, after 10 failed attempts. After watching this video I learned more about fingerboarding than during all these years on all sorts of of FB groups and subs on Reddit. UPD: Since yesterday I started to land every other Kickflip, so I’d like to thank u for posting this, youre the man!
I love intense shapes like Absolute's because they really amp up the mucho feeling of fingerboarding. The sharp dips really made me cognizant of how/where my fingers flick during tricks!
While I was trying to feel the board when I was working on kickflip consistency, I got the absolute most beautiful late kickflip, even though I've never landed one before

Great video man. Lots of good tips. Going to a event helped me so much. I learned that I was a lot better then I thought and watching how people do certain tricks helped me learn new ones. Also are you from the PNW? In your events section I saw a ride2relax park I bought from Spencer.
Feel most of this I do, think the one I need to focus on more is the fun aspect. I become very military head strong well you cant get clean switch flips so we are not going to bed till you land 100 of them.. Which over all I still have fun when I see growth the magic is that moment of achieving an feeling connected comfortable atleast for me.. Although I do feel I'm lacking in the stay loose an jam. Maybe I'll set a loose time lol.
There's nothing wrong with the tried-and-true repetition approach! If you can combine repetition with intentionality, you will improve leaps and bounds! Hope you are able to join us in Medford in April!
When I first saw you do an upside down flip, I literally was like, basically physically ill lol I was like "thats just not something ill ever be able to do" and I just landed an upside down kick flip! These videos rule. My flip in to grinds got way better after watching this because I started focusing on my pop.
I didn't know you played halo! My friend and I like that game, he doesn't fingerboard though, I wish I had friends that fingerboard, Mabey the next vid could be about how to find friends that fingerboard! Thanks for more tips!
That's cool! Halo 3 is the first halo I played an the first on I finished, halo infinite has easier controls so I like playing that. My friend is like a halo fanatic so he's played every game, but he's getting lost into fortnite.

Not sure it's that scientific. Just do what feels right. There's no right way to get good at FB. Just like actually skating. Every thing your saying is also basic knowledge
