ARTBLOCK 〔animated short film〕

Artblock is an (almost fully) animated short film I made as a uni project.
I was inspired by the thought of all the characters I drew in sketchbooks that I forgot about. What would it be like if they demanded to be finished?:D Especially when the artist is burnt out?
This story would be too long to finish in a semester so I decided to make a trailer/teaser for it instead.

This is awesome!!! So incredibly well done, I really loved the sound design! I struggled with artblock oh so terribly in university, and you captured the feelings of artblock so well whilst having it be lighthearted! I'd love to see more of these characters from you! Thank you for sharing :D

I love that the background for the credits is just a bunch of unfinished doodles and stock pictures. The title looking like broken pen strokes is awesome, too. My favorite part was definitely the sketchboy, though. Bro has chalk white skin, magic pen lines permanently glued to his head, an unfinished triangle nose, a neutral facial expression he always snaps back to because it's how he was drawn- and his top priority is being upset that he's bald. Don't worry buddy, I still think you're handsome. Just look at how popular guys who look like you are in the countryhumans fandom!
