The earrings are perfect❤ the cowboy boots should be tested before the big night, for comfort. The fabric and dress combo is adorable ❤

I vote for the Cuba Libre! It's all the things you said you wanted - shows off the print of the fabric, has floaty sleeves, not too hot, will look great with the boots! IMO the other two are too matronly for the vibe you're after. Can't wait to see what you end up with, though, your makes are always fabulous!

Hi Kristen, they are all wonderful dresses for Frocktails, but I think the Maison Fauve Cuba Libre dress is my favourite. I can envisage how lovely the Cuba Libre would look with your new boots.....happy sewing 😊

Hi Kristen I too came back in mid September from overseas trip. Every place you mentioned I went to including Italy from north to south. It was wonderful!! Hope your daughter enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your makes and patterns. I love style arc patterns. For the event I tried to book but sold out like hotcakes 😮 so no chance of me going!!

Hi Kristen. I don't think I am the best person to give Frocktails advice considering the issues I've had but I do like the trinny or the Cupa Libre dress. I am planning on getting my second Frocktails dress started today. Fingers crossed this one looks good. I would love a pizza oven. I think if I don't build it myself we will never get one. I am so excited to meet you and very nervous too. I hope your dress is successful. Have a lovely weekend ❤

My vote is for the Cubra Libre, I think that captures the essence of the look you’re going for. I can vouch for the Trinny too, I pulled mine out on the weekend and thought I need to make another soon! Looking forward to seeing what you decide on and the final look!

Absolutely make the Cubra libre with that fabric! It’s way trendier than the others. Perfect for the boots too ❤

I'm torn between the Trinnie and the Cuba Libre either one would look stunning on you. I'm in the process of making the Cuba Libre in the gorgeous viscose jacquard from your Enchanted Palace box from last year, not for Frocktails though I'm not attending that. Can't wait to see what you decide 🤩

Hello from Winnipeg 🇨🇦. What a hard choice as they are all lovely! I would do culottes and a loose breezy top like the one your wearing or a button down short sleeve. But if I have to choose I think the Style Arc Trinnie would be wonderful with the puffy short sleeves. What ever you choose is going to be amazing! Love your shows! Oh maybe a 4” frill on bottom of the skirt…check out Ralph Loren - no one does western like him 🤠

I like the look of the trinny pattern or you could change the neckline on no 1 style to no 2 style . Can’t wait to see your choice.

Hi Kristen, I think the Cuba Libre would be a beautiful choice. I was thinking of buying the Silversaga Elenora to make up the Garden Party fabric as it looks like a lovely pattern. Funnily enough I have been purchasing shoes from Diana Ferrari online as there is no shoe shop where we live, loving the boots. You have been busy entertaining such a large group, glad it all went well. Best get sewing, have a great week, Deb

Hi Kristen. I love the western/cowgirl theme to go with the boots and fabric. Probably the most traditional would be a midi-length split skirt (culottes) with a cowgirl shirt (V yoke front and back, piping, pearl snaps, and fringe). You could take an element or two and just add them to your pattern choice. For example, you might consider the Trinnie with cap sleeves with fringe around the bottom, or fringe around the V neck. Or the Cuba Libre with the sleeves a little shorter, but then fringe at the bottom to come to the original sleeve length. Or make the Trinnie or the Cuba Libre but with culotte bottoms instead of the skirt. The Queenie seems a bit formal to fit in the western/cowgirl theme. Do you have a cowboy hat? You could also incorporate a bandana in hair or hat band or as a neckerchief. Wishing you joy as you get a wiggle on for sewing your Frocktails masterpiece, Antonia

I think the Cubra Libre would look lovely and would go well with your boots.
If you weren’t super happy with the three options you mentioned, what about the Style Arc Belle dress? It’s got the v neck and options for the sleeve.

Hi Kristen, I love that fabric AND those boots! My pattern vote is the Style Arc Queenie with the bottom tier -or- have you considered the Closet Core Nicks Dress?
