      Your bike needs to be straight up to check you oil level in window. Place a piece of wood under your kickstand.

    I have a 2008 Suzuki C50. I just changed the oil and went to go on a trip. I went about 58 miles and the oil light went on. I pulled over and figured maybe it was hot. The light finally went off and I went on my way again. A little while later it came on again. Can you tell me what might be the cause of this, when it just had a fresh oil change. I used motorcycle oil, Valvoline 10-w40 and a Fram oil filter. Thank you...

    • @TwoWheelRocco
      @TwoWheelRocco  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      How many miles on your bike? When your oil light comes on do you hear any ticking valve train noise? If not I would lean towards oil pressure sending unit on your motor.

    • @jeffhaggard4536
      @jeffhaggard4536 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Probably not your problem, but you should stay away from Fram oil filters. They are terrible. Check out some videos of people cutting them open. It blew my mind how awful they are.

      Mr. Robin Henry, I say this because I care enough to warn you that Fram oil filters SUCK!! I used to buy Fram oil filters because it looked professional and all but when I found out how it looked like inside, I was stunned and I'll never use Fram oil filter for as long as I live.

      Happy to help. Tilt the Bike to see if oil level changes. there's a good chance you overfilled the oil and the window is totally filled with oil. I have a crash bar or engine bar, whatever you call it and it’s in the way of removing the filter. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to loosen and move the engine bar. I think some people call them protector bars. I just like the highway pegs on them to stretch the legs on a long ride. Thanks

      @@TwoWheelRocco Great video!
      I checked it out. Need to replace brake fluid on clutch, not clogged but dark filthy brown and lossing its strength.
      Hose that goes between carb and motor has two cracked slits.
      Needed oil, period lol.
      Air filters were destroyed.
      And gear oil was too low, and old.
      Even with all that, the bike ran PERFECT idle, it was just rough riding. Funny.
      The clutch feels like it doesn't really grab untl last second, not sure but, hopefully the fluid change helps with that.
