People are completely missing the point here. What David did was absolutely stupid but like you all said he’s a highschooler when we are that age we think we are invincible and we think with our heart not our mind. He did the morally correct thing by going back to try and save his friends but that still doesn’t make it smart, the odds were completely against him. Running into building full of cops and max tac is not smart it’s very heroic but it’s also very stupid.
This anime got the aoty (goty but for anime) very very deserved + they carried a bit cyberpunk, tons of ppl after watching the show went to play the game
