Hello I've just seen your review of this scooter. You talked about it's strange to have one shock at the back of the scooter, well it's not. I own a 2013 Honda click 125i and has 1 rear shock as well and the new Honda click models have still 1 rear shock, nobody is complaining only foreigners are talking about it 😂. Infact other scooters have 1 rear shock too, like Yamaha and Suzuki. I'm living in Thailand and these scooters are very popular. Old and young are driving on it. And these scooters are good, fast and cheap in maintenance, if not I didn't keep it more than 10 years. It still looks like a new scooter, with idling stop and combi break. I like your channel with honest opinions of new and used bikes. Good luck to you and your channel. Greetings from Thailand 🇹🇭.
I got the same scoot from a different brand here in my country. Only a few owned it. The difference is my scoot is a carb type and it's got a wide foot board. It's fun to ride actualy been using it for almost 2 and half years. The thing i hated about it is when you hit those bumpy roads it aint lower back friendly lol.
@@GillyBikes The brand is FKM. And the scoot is called Rev X 125. We have 2 different variations of it from different brands. One is from Italjet with similar body design like your diablo 125 and the other one is from FKM with a wide foot board. Both scoots are a head turner for some motorist here and they appreciate the sporty design. Although some don't coz most scooters here are either from honda, yamaha, kawasaki, suzuki. And some people had a bad experience with euro made scooters due to its parts availability and quality.
@@GillyBikes And btw. If you want that scoot to last long. Just do the proper maintenance of it. You might encounter some minor problems just like every other scooters on the market but its an easy fix. If your mechanic knows what to do with it.
I just don't know about Lexmoto. Anything will last if you look after it. But....... I think WK offer a better new but and that means probably a better secondhand buy.
They don’t seem to be the type of bike that people keep for years. They seem to be a cheap run around that people need at the time. This as a 2 year old example is actually quite good. Very clean and still works like new. Hopefully many years left in it yet.
@@GillyBikes I haven't been around along time but I have never seen a good secondhand Lexmotor. But the new ones are well screwed together. But WK are better. Always something of interest.
The plastics seem ok on this but the single shock at the back left side just looks strange. In the middle would have been fine but on the left just looks like the other one is missing 😂
Nice looking scoot pity they didn’t fit a bit more powerful 125 engine to match its sporty looks . They were originally sold under the Italjet brand in certain markets , & also known to suffer issues . Ok if you can source one for about 5 to 600 quid , & bung a better version of the Chinese cloned GY 6 Honda scooter engine in it . I wouldn’t pay more than 700 quid for one used no matter how mint it looked ,very low miles would also raise my suspicions ,regarding reliability issues .
@@comradehunk130 That would alter its capacity , put extra stress on a crank built to take ax125 top end , increase fuel consumption , also make the scooter illegal for learner riders , in U.K. & increase insurance quotes . Where if you just fit another 125 compatible engine of a higher still legal HP rating & inform the licensing authorities & insurance company , would keep it legal for CBT provisional licence holders U.K. .
@@maskedavenger2578 Well that suxx. Here in my country it's legal to do engine modifications on scooters. As long as it's road worthy. Well if you want to squeeze a bit more hp to it you can convert it to 4 valves without sacrificing engine stress and still stays at 125cc category. If you're familiar with SYM shark these two scooters have the same engine. The difference is the diablo 125 is a 2 valves scooter but the shark is 4 valves. Both cylinder heads are plug and play.
They must have come down. When I did the review the cheapest in the road price I seen Was £2299 so it worked out quite a bit cheaper. But yes the 2 year warranty is a bonus with a new bike but that’s what you pay the extra for. But if it doesn’t go wrong you have paid a lot for Peace of mind.
@@GillyBikes Yeah they came down in price around January ish and we actually have a CBT offer that could get them out the door with top box for less than 2k. But that extra couple of hundred isn’t always easy to find for people. Plus they are really good bikes so one that new, like you said might never go wrong so saving is a saving at the end of the day.
You got me. From the front it looks just like a sports bike.
Look at Aprilla's 50cc scooter. Looks utterly gorgeous in red.
They do look really sporty. A nice little scoot to play on.

What brand is it in your country?

@comradehunk130 thanks for the info 👍
@comradehunk130 I say that with every bike. If you want them to last you need to look after them.

Single shocker just seen weird. Had a Lexmoto Milano, engine was ok but some weak plastic parts
@@derbyshireruralrider9398 And they are the bits that come into contact with the real world.

Where did you get the phone mount from?
That just comes with the bike.
I was trying to get a good look as it googled GRE QY but didn’t see it

This thing can be upgraded to 175cc from 2 valves to 4 valves. Using lexmoto aura and sym shark cylinder head. .

Brand new they are £2099 on the road so it’s not a big enough saving at that price especially when the new ones come with 2years warranty.

@13Gninja it’s still amazing £2000 for a new bike with a 2 year warranty. 👍
