Hi Neil, I just got the AA TX 200 HC mk3 in Walnut, almost brand new for £505 including Postage, I couldn't believe it, the guy I got it from has many Hi-end shotguns and that's all he has ever shot, he wanted to try a springer but never took to it, so he was selling it, the guy was loaded so he just wanted rid of it, so I was super lucky to get it at a ridiculous price, fantastic Rifle, looks amazing and is a tack driver.. Anyway have fun with your TX in your video your cradling your TX like a new baby 😂😂❤️ enjoy your time with your family.. Kind regards from Johnny.. 👍✌️👌

@@johnnyhouston9913 Hey, Johnny. What awesome luck! Sounds like you got a good deal!. I had a great start to the Holidays. Can never get enough family time. Back at work and nose to the grindstone for the next few months. When I get some time to shoot, its the TX i am grabbing! All the best and hope you enjoy your rifle as.much as I do mine.

Hi Neil, that's great your having a fab time with your family, in the end that's the most important thing, nothing else really matters 👍👍❤️❤️ and Yeh I got a brilliant deal on the TX.. The guy who sold me it phoned me up a few times during the transaction on Guntrader, he forgot to mention in his advert it was the Hunter Carbine version and not the full Rifle version.. I said back to him, I don't care 🤣🤣🤣LOL He told me he got the TX from Bagnall and Kirkwood.. £789... OOFT 👀👀🤣🤣 so I really got a cracking deal.. The Rifle came its original box which was like new, and the Rifle itself was in pristine condition.. So I was more than overjoyed.. Anyway I will catch you on your next video.. I know you'll be busy back at work which is a bummer but, its got to be done, enjoy your time off when you get it, take care from Johnny 👍👌✌️

    Hello Sir,
Thank you for a great review of this fantastic, beautiful Air Arms TX200. The Air Arms TX200, Weihrauch's HW80, 97, 77, 90, 99s, Diana Air King Pro, Walthur's LGV and LGU etc, are all fantastic, amazing air rifles, and to pick out the best I think would depend on peoples mechanical knowledge/apptitude, personal preferences, etc.
Personally, I think the levels of differences are so fine now, and we all have a preference for different reasons.
Personally, I'm in awe of all of them. The TX is pcp accurate. It has the best, most gorgeous blueing, and it's fishscale chequering, trigger, for me, is a knee trembler.
The HW80 is an air rifle so capable and popular in the 1980's, and so, so able, even today. As a teenager in the 1980's, I so, so wanted one, though I hadn't hope.
Now I have one, its so so special to me, especially since I made my own laminated stock for it with just hand tools and a passion I'd built up from being a youngster.
The HW's 77 were winning so many field target competitions, and the Walthur's were such a solidly constructed bank vault of a unit. Absolutely fantastic.
I think the side lever models, Diana Air King Pro, with its sliding sledge assembly, Models 52, and 56, are more fantastic examples of German engineering. For me, I just think they were very heavy, and a tough day would be had, to use them for hunting. Their side levers weren't silent and a little clunky, though this for me doesnt detract from being totally awesome units.
I just think, anyone who's interested in air rifles today, can go and purchase these totally awesome units, enjoy them and have the time of their lives, once they're familiar, and learn how to manage their recoil.
Although I'd have loved one, I haven't had the life in air rifles you have, I humbly don't think we a best, as such. I think we're so, so lucky to have at our disposal the range we have. We have amazing kit, fantastically, solidly manufactured, many different ideas and mindsets that should appeal to everyone interested and passionate about air rifles.
    Best wishes, Ian.

@@ianwoods1384 Ian, thank you so much for your comment. It makes great reading and really displays your passion towards our sport. I agree, a lot of the difference people find these days is down to how the rifle suits them. There are indeed some awesome bits of kit out there. I wish I got to spend time with them all! All the best. 👍👊

      Hello Sir,
Thank you for your reply and compliment. Yes, I totally agree with you.
However, there is one saying that haunts me.
"Beware of the hunter with only one gun"
Like many of us, my friend, we are passionate and enthusiastic about our sport. That means we accrue kit, things, yearned for all our lives. Then you realise, how am I ever going to have time to utilise all my kit?
I try and get out as much as I can, and I make notes regarding distances, hold over/under, etc.
I adore my air rifles and owning kit that I never thought I would. Getting out, using my kit, enjoying it and the outdoors, nature, etc. It's just fantastic.
There's so much around now regarding mental health, and I support that. Unfortunately, I don't see things improving. We are given more and more work and less time to do it in. Our roads get busier, and generally, nothing works. It's always somebody else's fault, and that person is on leave today! Really!!
I'm so grateful I can go and sit in a beautiful wood, settle, and watch the wildlife. After not very long, the birds/animals except me as normal, after not very long, and it's just an amazing, gorgeous place to be.
      Best wishes, Ian

@@ianwoods1384 I don’t think the benefits of shooting on helping with mental health gets enough credit. Unfortunately mental health and shooting is a very tricky subject. Most of the terrible events we hear about are done by those with serious mental health issues. It is a shame that the failures in identifying these people and their problems before they reach for a gun, are not highlighted by the media rather than just blaming fire arms for the final result.
Enjoy the woods, bird song and fresh air.

I've had both HW97 & AA TX200HC - my take is that the AA is better out of the box, but the HW with a tune is the best...... however, they are the only 2 rifles that I've sold as I find I ultimately prefer a good quality tuned break barrel. Keep up the great work..always an honest personal opinion.

@@brynybach7741 Hi... I already had a few good quality break barrels to use as a comparison. Mainly HW's and generally tuned by the late Steve Pope (RIP) of Vmach - my favorites being reduced cylinder HW80's, HW98's and a reduced cylinder AA ProElite. These in my opinion are superb rifles and far more convenient to shoot than an under-lever. However this is a very personal preference based on 60+ years of air-rifle shooting😏

Ive had it short stroked, 10.5fpee ,V mach d, 11.2 fpe, and FACAir Arms at just sub 14fpe. I still cannot after all this time consistently get reasonable groups with it.Probably me, but my CFX gets much tighter groups with far less sffort.
