I have the same black 1992 which I bought a couple years ago and really enjoying it... I like all the little modifications you did especially the exhaust because mufflers or even complete exhaust systems seem to be hard to find. Mine is all stock and excellent condition and I plan to leave it that way but it's always nice to have options. 👍
The issue with these older bikes is that OEM replacement parts are getting harder to find, to keep one pristine and stock, you could consider buy a parts bike
The next upgrade you should do is to install a 41mm front fork stabilizer (the VTR1000F share the same size), get progressive springs for the front forks and some gas charged adjustable struts for the rear. Since you have mufflers on and you took out the emissions equipment you need to reject the carbs because the california models (the one you have) have carbs that are made to run with the equipment you removed, if you don't then you will risk engine problems later on. Then if you are willing to forgo a bit of comfort I would get clip ons and a linear steering dampener. After that you would have a very capable bike! Take it from me, i also have a 1992 Nighthawk 750.
Since they were discontinued in 2003 in the US I believe, no, I don't know if in Japan any further models had EFI. These bikes are carbureted but have electronic spark ignition (CDI)
Very nice exhaust mod! That idea will help out many NH 750 owners wishing to change out the stock mufflers for any reason. I personally went with a 4 into 1 Vance & Hines exhaust (sounds GREAT BTW!, but carbs needed a re-jet).... but I do like the idea and look of dual custom mufflers on the NH. Nice job. How about some sound clips at WOT?
Very nice NH 750, those are really great all around bikes. That 750 engine is legendary and when in tune, they run like a swiss watch! I like the seat, where did you get it?
Did you find a round space when you installed the new headlight? I bought third market headlight, but it doesn’t seem to stay on? What headlight bezel did you get?
Have you had any issues with the pcv delete by just adding a open hose to the crank case breather? Does it spit out oil or hurt the bike in anyway? I'm thinking of doing it on my 02 750.
@@Mr.NightGixxer the pcv delete is just so the carbs breathe clean cold air, if the engine is in good shape, no oil drips out of mine. The levers I got from the Mexican equivalent of eBay
Okay I've been watching videos about the pcv delete and couldn't find anything that gave me full confidence that it wouldn't hurt the bike. Thank you I appreciate it. Btw like the videos so far I'll definitely keep my eye out for whenever you upload.
@@Mr.NightGixxerhow did the pc. Delete work out for you? I’ve just picked the same exact one up and the pcv is already deleted, I saw a good amount of “fresh” oil at the bottom of the filter case, I think is unusual.
I know it's an older video but I like the bike and what you done with it these the good general purpose bikes I grew up with

I might need to do some shit like this to my 93 nighthawk.
Great video, lots of info and good narration/camera work!

Liked the video, but I had a question have you heard of or seen a night with an EFI system.

I wanted a 4-1 system as well, but theyre too hard to find, making the stock exhaust to be a slip on was the only way to go for me
Great intro (creative) nice job on the bike.
