Outstanding! I'm a big fan of these having owned a 96 that I purchased new. Had her 23 years with well over 100k when I sold her. No complaints! Much luck in your endeavours!
It's BRILLIANT !! I love it and am planning to get a CB 750 sometime in the future ~ If I now see one with dents in the tank and or a ripped seat I know where I can go with the custom upgrade ~ The tank is just genius ~ I do custom carbon fiber work and have progressed quite a bit ~ Looking forward to looking you up ~ The bike has such a great look. Better than the original for sure ~ All your custom moves on this appeal like nothing ever has before ~ SOLID !!
Very nice job, unique and versatile. My 2001 is companion to two Magna's and four XR's of varying displacements, and I've been in the process of trying to meet them both halfway. I saw in the comments you have Kenda's on the bike. I really dig the look though I'm curious to know how competent they really are light offroading given it weighs 500lbs. Your passion for the build is what helps to keep it alive in the rest of us, keep it up and be safe man.
Love your style. Great bike you did there. What kind of air filter did you put on it? I'm building my Nighthawk at the moment, but I don't know if I should use single pod filters, or this kind of 4 in one filter.
One thing you did the pink elephant in the room that you didn't mention.Whats the air box mode you did and how that worked out with CV carbs.I have same bike and love to get rid of giant air box.Thks
Nice job! May I ask what end cap did you mount on the end of your shorten stock muffler? BTW, Some nice close-up detail shots of this very cool CB750 would have been really nice to see in this video.
I use end caps with 2" openings meant for fabricating Catalytic Converters. Noted on the detail shots. This video was shot on a whim with Scrambler stories. We got kicked out of the train yard so didn't get much B roll. haha
They are Renntec bars for the Euro RC42 or CB750 F2 model. I had to make a custom bolt long enough to go through both sides of the bike. The stock bolt is too short.
@@megatonmoto thanks for the reply man! The stock tire size for the nighthawk is 140/70/17 but im only able to find a 130/80/17 i wonder if thats the size he is running?
I modified the stock exhaust. Shortened and hollowed the stock mufflers. Made custom baffles and packed with ceramic packing. I could do the same the yours if you sent them to me. You can contact me via email on my website.
@@megatonmoto Thank you, that's a good place to start looking. Re-building a nighthawk 700s class of 84, eventually want to go with a bigger 18-19" front wheel and longer rear suspension for some off-road riding. How has this affected your bike's handling?
His was also a 1992 Nighthawk which I took some inspiration from but it was less practical. There were lots of non functional parts on it cause movie magic.
Love the practicality and functionality of this

Clean build, bike looks great! I wanted a Nighthawk after seeing Daryls bike on Walking Dead. Now I really want a Nighthawk.
Thanks! They are really great bikes. Definitely pick one up if you get the chance.
I love this so much! I'm rebuilding my Nighthawk and this is so inspiring! 😍
Me too! Rebuilding a 1984 CB700 what about you?

Nice work on that one, killer video and build, keep it up
Tank n sound r perfect

Love it! I'm looking at a '91. Might grab it tomorrow morning.
That rail yard reminds me of Charlotte,NC but I'm sure there's plenty that looks similar
Not a big fan of the Road Warrior look but you did a nice job on all the mods you did and it does sound nice.

The air boxes are from Steel Dragon Performance. They make amazing CB airboxes. I have them on all my CBs. Definitely recommend them.

nice work. did you just connect the leds, or is there a special procedure?
Love this bike, Can you tell me what bike that tank is from please I know you said 850 GS is that a BMW if so what year is it from.
It's from an 80s Suzuki GS850
I would like for you to work on my bike brother
Are there any stock seats similar to the seat you made? Because it looks great but I don't think I could make something like it myself.

@@megatonmoto Thanks Calvin for the added info, much appreciated!
thats so cool bike 👌🏼
Awesome build! I just picked up a 92 nighthawk myself and was looking for different tanks to swap onto it. What year is that gs850 tank?
It's from an 81.
Which crash bars from renntec did you use exactly? Was it an easy installation or did it require some fabrication?
Cool bike 👍👊😍
Where did you get the crash bars? Did you have to modify them to fit?
They are Renntec bars for the Euro RC42 or CB750 F2 model. I had to make a custom bolt long enough to go through both sides of the bike. The stock bolt is too short.
Nice nighthawk! What tires and tire size is he running?
Running Kenda K761 in stock size.

@@megatonmoto awesome just making sure! Thanks for the replies! One last question what windscreen is on the bike?
@@714integra I think I mention it in the video. It's a Dart flyscreen.
How’d you make the exhaust? Or can you make one for my nighthawk and I can buy it from you?

@@megatonmoto do you jet and pod filter it also?
i will look 👀 fo Honda now 😁
i love it!
Where did you get the longer rear shocks?
The time the video was shot I was using TEC Steel Tracker shocks for a Bonneville. I later switched to Zephy piggy back shocks for more tunability.
