Can education loan emis be paid with credit card? If yes please mention which are those card. I am saying this to use credit card for benefit because i have money to pay emi directly but if credit card do so i can pay credit card bill next day.
Best of axis atlas comes when you spend on hotels or airlines directly. You will get 5x edge miles if you book either through axis travel edge or direct through hotels. You can use it to settle any payments during hotel checkout
Axis Magnus for normal accounts is 5:2. For Burgundy it's 5:4. Great work on these discussions it helps me a lot with my credit card optimization also.
More importantly, the Atlas benefit is on travel spends where you earn 5 Edge Miles per 100 on direct hotel/airline bookings. Which unlike booking through smartbuy/third parties, gives you the points/miles for the booking as well. So it is effectively always a double dip. 3L travel spends on Axis Atlas in your first year will get you 20k Edge Miles which is a 24% in terms of Accor.
As an Ex-Magnus(good old days) user and a current Atlas user, i wish to add here that atlas has to introduce smartbuy program apart from buying directly through airline site or hotel site. if Atlas allows Gyfter or something - it would be the most rewarding card.
Accor ALL points definitely hold more value, but one drawback is the points cap-you can’t use them to cover an entire booking. During my recent trip to Istanbul, I could only use a maximum of 18k points for my Novotel reservation, and had to pay the rest in cash. In contrast, with Marriott’s Bonvoy points, I was able to fully cover my Sheraton booking using just points.
While paying the cash amount, just ask the receptionist to use the points, They will be able to deduct from that, I have done this multiple times. Only the amount < 1800/- (which is 1000 points) you have to pay because they can only redeem in multiples of 1000.
I have an Atlas upgrade option but i feel that Atlas has way too many exclusions including jewellery. For my personal use, i can't think of any big payments that i can do with this. I have the Amex trifecta, HDFC reg gold that covers all my spends
So Atlas is easy to get and if you’re not getting Infinia easily, you should go for Atlas! I got Atlas despite holding Infinia and think it’s not worth it!
Regarding Axis Magnus for Burgundy - Although rent is not included in annual fee waiver, you do get reward points for rents upto 50k. I was able to get M4B lifetime free (till I maintained the Burgundy status) because I got it before 31st Jan, so this works out for me.
Everybody should also have with this Zenith Plus card if they hold such cards. Fee plus gst 5.9k, 5k you get Amazon voucher and 900 fee can be taken care of very well as 16 buy one get movie ticket. Plus good access or meet and greet four in total and other offers au runs. Not for spending but saving money. And Amazon pay 5k is as good as 5k money

Do a back of the envelope - how many times have you hit the daily limit on DCB plastic, and going forward, what's the estimated benefit of no daily limit for you? If that's more than the fee, get it otherwise skip. I haven't gotten it for what it's worth
What to do if i have a LTF diners privilege card and now getting upgraded to diners black metal. First yr free...then 8lac spend based fee waiver. My spends are lesser.
