    Key takeaway:
    Use credit card only like a debit card.
    Your spending should define your credit card. Not the other way.

      It all sums down to mindset, if one is wise enough to use the credit card in the smart way rather than using like a maniac, he/she can benefit out of it. Doesn’t matter whether entry card or card with 5-10K joining fees.

      Starting with transferring UPI on rupay based CC is a good starting point. A family of 4 can easily spend 400k a year and treat itself to a nice treat once in a while, so that's not so bad a point to consider in my opinion.

    The more you talk about these loopholes in public, Credit Card companies plans to put controls over them. I've been doing all these whatever he says from the past 8 years with my 15+ cards. I've seen the controls they place to prevent such loopholes. This is not a sustainable plan. The moment companies realise they make a loss on these, they stop immediately.

    This don’t make sense
    Most credit cards don’t give points for rent payment , school fees payment or insurance or tax filing etc
    So basically they will give points for just basic daily usage and getting a fancy card will simply make us to spend more money on something which we would have not spent on first place. So all these points and all is a scam.
    Expect for very less people who spend a lot for their travels and etc for them it might be worth for others it’s just a way to go broke.

For most salaried individuals, one missed payment or an unexpected expense can snowball into a cycle of debt. What is the best way to step up SIP. Start new ones or increase existing ones ?

    • @Vsbkt
      @Vsbkt 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You want to setup new SIP or step-up SIP? (which increases on its own?) prefer step-up SIP in groww like app or similar for existing SIPs.keep it simple. Less transactions.

    • @financewithsharan
      @financewithsharan  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If you current SIP is doing good, you can step up in it only instead of starting a new SIP.

    Sharan you should hv used credit cards to pay salaries before firing so many people... I mean you would get points, and good wishes from the employees 😅... The 1% club could hv grown contributing more to job creation in India.

    If you say it's a cashback offer, we can't cash it out directly. It will reduce the bill amount on your credit card rather than giving cash directly to your savings account. So, can I invest that cashback amount? That is why i don't get it 23:20
