The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite is a centuries-old, global fraternity founded on principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. The Galveston Scottish Rite, established in 1867, holds the distinction of being Texas' oldest chapter and home to the state's initial "high" degrees of Freemasonry. My Galveston roots go back 5 generations, to the 1850s. My grandfather and his older brother were members of Harmony Lodge #6 as well as Scottish Rite Masons. I think your video is very well done. I haven’t been in the building in probably 20 years so it’s nice to see how it’s looking and the care being devoted to its preservation.
