Trans Studio Mall in Makassar, Indonesia 🇮🇩 | Makassar's BIGGEST Mall

After a few days of exploring the ins and outs of Makassar (and we still haven’t even scraped the surface!), we decided to treat the kids to a movie and ice cream. We wanted to get dinner, as well, but we found out that we barely made it to the last showing of the movie! Join us as we explore this huge mall in search of American junk food and the movie theater. This theater was one of the nicest movie theaters we have ever to and that says a lot since we used to live in Dubai. The mall was full of people enjoying fun Ramadhan activities.

Easiest way to find a cinema in an Indonesian mall, just go to the highest or second highest accessible floor. Most cinemas are located there, to accomodate the larger screensize

Trans Studio Theme Park is under renovation now. In the Premiere XXI Class you got the blanket ( you can find it in seat drawer) and you can adjusting your seat to bed.

actually, the movie always begins 10 minutes after the time printed in the ticket. And if you purchase ticket "the premiere" you could order food and ask them deliver to your seats. just tell them your seat number. Cinema XXI (this is the cinema you visited) in almost every malls in indonesia always located in the highest floor or even for some buildlings it is located in the rooftop parking lot. Why? first : becoz the cinema needs higher ceiling, second : cinema usually becomes the main attraction of an indonesia's malls (no malls without cinemas), so they make all customers walking around the malls here and there to reach the cinema, hoping they buy something from the stores they passed.

You are literally passed the movie theater. You didn't notice on the 4th floor. The one with the Premier and many Movie posters. Btw Trans Studio mall is a mall with an indoor park with so many attractions. It was the biggest indoor theme park in Indonesia, now Trans Studio has some branches in other cities and bigger. The first Trans Studio in Indonesia is that one in Makassar.

I totally missed the movie theater the first time. I wish we would have had more time to visit the trampoline park. It's nice to give the kids a break for that kind of fun activity.

If you see from outside, this mall is so big. More than half of the building is actually the indoor theme park, which is trans studio. So many play arenas inside and not only for kids. Next time you come again to Makassar, you should come again just for the Theme park.

I would recommend you guys to try one of my favorite place to eat Gelato ice cream at Gustoso Gelato at Sangir Street. It only cost from 15k/cup ice cream and you can have a free test for the gelato options
