Yeah, if you flip them into manual it prevents the cylinder displacement from being activated, gets rid of the drone and it’ll still cycle through the gears automatically.
In that case I'd only get the mufflers deleted and not the resonators, just to be on the safer side. It won't sound as good as getting it straight piped but you also won't have to worry about getting pulled over for a louder sound.
Depends on the state/county, if you don’t have a sound/decibel level law but have to have mufflers is go with super 40s for LOUD or super 10s for STUPID LOUD
@@charlessynowiec3876 it’ll do it over time regardless if you cut the cats, you’ll just have to get some cat o clean and clear the code or something. it’s just a sensor thing
So the rear ones are the resonators/muffler? Or are the mids the resonators/mufflers? I want to do this to my 300 but i dont know of i should cut the mids or the rears
Take it from me - ive had both on my 5.7 and its better to just delete the "mufflers" on this one. If you delete evertything its too loud (sounds great, but annoying af).
bandit77 if you have dual exhaust u have two catalytic converters, one in the middle after the resonators (u can delete that and still pass) and one right in the front at the beginning, thats the one u dont wanna take off ur check engine light will turn on
As long as you don’t delete the cats coming out of the heads then you’re good to go for emissions and there won’t be a check engine light. Everything after that can be changed up to whatever you like. Sometimes having a full straight pipe with ZERO cats can be to loud to where it just sounds like noise instead of a engine note but everyone likes different stuff! Also if you go no cats you’ll have to do some sort of cross pipe work to make sure you don’t lose back pressure which would cause you to lose power!
1st sounds nice. 2nd sounds better till the drone makes you crazy.
My rt is straight piped, drone isn’t bad
A good sound system and it drowns out that drone from the exhaust
These new vehicles are well insulated. Drone isn't that terrible compared to older vehicles
You can’t hear the drone your music blasting
Yeah, if you flip them into manual it prevents the cylinder displacement from being activated, gets rid of the drone and it’ll still cycle through the gears automatically.
On that black one it needs long tube headers, high flo cats, xpipe and the rest 3inch pipe
Second one sounds like a hellcat
I'd put a set of headers on the silver one and call it a day. That 1st one to me sounds much better imo.
Ho my God, that straight pipe is music to my earrrs...
Thank you for this
The 1st one (grey chrslyer 300) sounds like an AMG Mercedes Benz
me like the first one I own a 300s 2017 still stock
How is it? I’m looking forward to get one

Does anyone know if a mid muffler delete will drone with the rear muffler still attached?
I have it on mine and no drone
im confused as to what was done to the straight pipe as he doesnt explain in the video. if one was a mid delete what was done to the louder one?
These sounds cool but i always wonder what it sounds like with the 4 cylinder deactivation...
like shit
Ignorant question, but will a car still pass emissions with straight pipes?
Depends on the state/county, if you don’t have a sound/decibel level law but have to have mufflers is go with super 40s for LOUD or super 10s for STUPID LOUD
I only know that you don't need mufflers to pass emissions. But you do need your catalytic converter
Did you delete catalytic converters?
Did a mid muffler delete affect check engine light?
Probably not instantly, for me it took a few months before it came on.
@@alexanderfollowsChristthen what?
@@charlessynowiec3876 it just throws a code for the CATs because of the amount of buildup that happens

Sorry, how much does it cost to delete everything ?? Do you have to replace the deleted mufflers and resonators with another one????
@@Avatar_10__ mufflers deletes on the 300 are around 300$
Hell nah that’s your opinion you ain’t like yo shit loud straight pipe or no pipe 😭💯💀🌚
How much is it to get one of those
Where are you guys located I want to bring my car in for mid delete
Does the 5.7 straight pipe pass emissions in Davidson county ?
All you need are catalytic converters. You can cut off the mufflers and resonators and be fine
Does this cause like a check engine light?
Same thing I want to know ??
Only get a check engine light if you take out the cats
Man hell yeah !!! i got into with the dealership because i just bought a 300 & after i took muffler off engine light would repeatedly turn on
turns out it signals a leak in your system you hust have to get that sensor reset
@@goaty4487 what year model you got ??
Would have been better to do two v6 cause you cant compare the sound difference. Of course the eight gonna be louder and thats from factory
they’re both V8s though
Does the Chrysler get a check engine light after muffler delete ? Thanks in advance
No you shouldn't

Boy hell nah 😂😂
My cousin has a v6 charger and did a straight pipe and added Flowmaster mufflers and it sounds pretty good, only cost him like 300$
Just trade it in. Should have never bought a V6
