I have only one major problem with the I-260. It's so much easier and fun to fly than the Su-9 that I've completely stalled my progress going up that line! Thanks for another enjoyable video on worshiping in the Church of Derp.
HI THERE VEE I'VE JUST BEEN WATCHING YOUR VIDEO/ POSTS ON THE I260 YOU AND THE 57MM YOU WERE AS ONE....THOSE (1) SHOTS LOOKED AWESOME....KEEP UP THE TOP WORK 😁😎 AND STAY SAFE BUDDY ☮️🌈🌈🏳️🌈🇧🇴🌈🌈🌈🏳️🌈🇧🇴🇧🇴
Your mileage may vary. It takes a bit to get in sync with these guns. I have had many disappointing battles in this aircraft prior to getting to this point. There are definitely better premiums if you are looking to make credits and train crews. This was just a fun to have IMO.
@@Veebat I'm no stranger to disappointing battles lol, I have a good number of premiums at the moment, I'm simply trying to find planes to fill the holes in the various nations i have, thanks for the reply
I find switching between derp snipers of widely varying shell velocities to be rather painful. Grinding the Yak-9U (1360 m/s) lately has forced me to mothball the Do335A-1 (1600 m/s) and Bf110C-6 (800 m/s). The Ki-93 is close enough to still be comfortable (1280 m/s). Looking at shell velocities on the wiki, the I-260 and Ho229 (1440 m/s) are close but not quite the same as those of the Su-9 and Yak-9U (1360 m/s). How close do they feel?
It takes a few kills to get back into the groove but I have made it a challenge for myself to be able to switch between gun types. Also remember that the planes are moving faster at higher tiers so the lead needs to take that extra factor into account.
Do you really think Marksman has that much to do with it? It seems like DERPing is almost all about estimating the lead. If the shot misses I'd always blame my lead, and perhaps occasionally lag, not the RNG of the gun. (as opposed to Tanks which is 95% Patented RNG Balancing haha) I usually think about Marksman as a tool for quieting down the dispersion cloud of machine guns to increase their DPS.
Brooks Rownd in my mind yes. The results are more consistent with this aircraft now. Some of this may be in my head but I don’t t think marksman 2 should be used all the time, in fact I have removed it from most crews. But for the exact reason you state I feel like quitting down the dispersion on a gun that fires one shot a second and over heats instantly is very important. Any major dispersion, even with perfect aim will be a miss and that hurts more when you only sling a round roughly every 2 seconds. More testing is needed for sure. But I have credits and time to spare so I’m happy to do it.
"Snipey Guns." This gives me an idea for a fantastic baby yoda meme. And stop doing goddamn videos on Premiums, Vee. I don't need to spend any more money in this game :)
So this is basically the commie version of what we should've had for ages now; the Specialist II Me 262 Narwhal. I still remember about a year ago they've stated the "Development plans for WoWP in 2019" title in the game website. Amongst them was the so-called specialist II versions of certain iconic aircrafts.
Marcell Horváth yeah we are all waiting. The forum cites a fiasco with the Iron Maiden event pushing back development timelines, but that was last summer. I hope to hear SOMETHING in the next month or so. I can be patient but communication of a delay would at least tell us something else was coming.
Gotta love that "thunk" when the big gun hits.
Veebat can you do more tutorials? I'm new to the game and really don't know how to play. Thanks and I love ur videos💙

LOL I find myself in the same situation. The SU-9 is a chore to grind.
"The Unicorn" is my first and favorite T8 premium. So much derpy fun! Well played game, Vee.

I've been debating picking this up for a while now. This vid is definitely helping me push the decision

@@Veebat Disappointing battles in World of Warplanes you say?? I refuse to believe that. I have about 20 'WTAFMC' moments a day.
You are an amazing pilot. Ha Ha I wish I could fly as well in the I 260
damn that's a serious gun on this bad boy
it´s a winged KV 2!!! OMG!!
