It looks amazing but in hindsight you should have used yarn that was tightly spun. The yarn you used was basically wool which has no structural integrity. Its either gonna turn to hard felt in the washing machine or its going to fall apart because the fibres aren't held together. On the bright side at least you didn’t pay 400 for something that won't last
I doubt this was wool looking at the price point. I don’t know how well acrylic would hold up but imagine i it wouldn’t fall apart as quickly as a 100% natural fibre would.

That helps so much; I am trying one of these for my daughter with loop yarn (mainly b/c I suck at doing it freehand) in more pastel/easter colors. Thank you very much for a great video. Did you ever put any buttons on or did you leave the front like it is in the video?

Lol the “original state” of yarn is actually the roving yarn since it has not been spun. I would not recommend this yarn to make cardigans with, since it has no structure and the sweater will deteriorate quickly. Always use spun yarn to knit with.
Lets say you made 11 loops for row 1. You should have been working from left to right To start row 2 you pierce your fingers into the last loop of row 1 (the 11th loop) and pull the yarn up through that loop. You should be working from right to left now. but make sure you change the direction of where the yarn (coming from the ball) is laying to help you remember which directions to go in You will be going left to right, then right to left, and repeat. *row 1 is technically a chain, but I said loops to simplify If you still need help dm me on Instagram and I’ll get to it as soon as I can! ☺️ @mainmadecrochet

Aww, its not all in vain. I could remake this project again in a day. The video is meant to reflect my first attempt and give lessons to those who want to try it out! A part of art is making things multiple time until you get it right! :)
