    Thank you so so so much for making this. I have been looking EVERYWHERE for days for a cardigan like this one. Everyone wants to make short ones and I'm like 'I need a long one'. This was literally sent from heaven. The instructions were so clear and really helpful. For reference, how long was the cardigan?/How tall are you?

    it seems like working on the purl side makes keeping an eye on the tension more difficult. your tension is great, tho.
    wonder if having 2-3 cast of stitches at the back of the neck could be nice for shaping.
    and look up doing a slipped stitch edge for knitting. it makes a nice finished edge. it’s good for edges that are NOT being seamed together.

      I cant say for sure. But I identify as a 18/20. And for the width I used half of my hip measurement. Which was 25" and I Made it floor length at like 55". So I used almost 5 of the 75 yard skein. So for a 12/14 I would say maybe at 22 width and length depending on your height or how long you want it. Maybe could get away with 4 of the bigger skeins.

    I noticed when you got to the shoulders part too make the front, you did both sides differently. 12:35 and 15:34. That’s the only part that I’m confused about. Which one is the correct way ?

    Quick question did you do 1 back panel and 2 front panels & 2 sleeves and then connected them ? Or just the back panel fold in half then start the sleeves I’m trying to make one for my daughter 😩 my brain 😂😂😂

      Hi! Check the link in description for my blog post there are some good visuals there. But it the back panel splits into 2 panels at the shoulder to make the front panels. Then the sides are closed and sleeves are added.

    Great video Watched several videos and started making one then I ran into your video… how many bundles of yarn did you use total? I’m 5 7 and doing the back panel, already on my 3rd bundle and it’s nowhere as long as yours. Also I see a lot of people doing the front panels separately that’s where I’m confused. You attached you fronts to your back ( didn’t do your fronts one side at a time then attached them)

      It depends on how many yards are in your skeins. My second one is used close to 350 yard. Each skein had 75 yards. So I used about 5 of those. My 1st one was really oversized. The skeins only had 28 yards. I used almost 17 of those

      @@SewingWithTAE thank you! I would love for you to do a video showing how you attached the front parts to the back . I watched it several times and still having trouble understanding how you added the fronts without knitting them separately then attaching them. It could be the angle you shot it🤦🏽‍♀️.Thanks in advance! How did you close the neck part ??

    Does the knit loosen up a bit when you wash it?

    I have a question. Do you add the sleeve inside out?

      I did, but someone suggested that Its helpful to hand knit where you can see the knits

    How many rows did you do for the back

    • @SewingWithTAE
      @SewingWithTAE  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am not that great at counting rows. So I like to measure them. My back length was about 50 inches.

      @SewingWithTAE  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I actually did not count how many rows up. I just measured it. I knew I wanted it about 50 inches so I just measured it as I was working.
