    or as an individual TAB/lesson www.daddystove...
    I tabbed the intro, the first two verses (with lyrics written under the tab) and the two solo's. Verses 3 and 4 are exactly the same as verses 1 and 2 apart from a few variations, which are explained in the lesson video.
    If you don't want the whole lesson pack you can order it as an individual tab www.daddystove...
    First recorded in 1924, "Trouble In Mind" became an instant blues standard

    Standard tuning, key of E, capo I
    I'm playing a mahogany/spruce Grand Concert 000 made by Texan David Newton.

    Amazing alternating bass line with the muffling effect! Perfect hammering of notes. All keeping a perfect rhythm going. Upper fret string bending & pull off's makes it sound like a fine watch ticking or a train clacking in perfect time on the rails. Especially thank you for the lession in such detail. No one Sir Daddy Stove pipe can play with such a fine technique that shall remain in the archives of how fine finger style blues/jazz is played. When you play you make the original writers of these songs smile & the angels above cry. Thank you for all your hard work & sharing your insightful arrangements/knowledge of these early classic songs that generations to come will be carrying in their hearts. Vince James (Ajello)

    Beautiful rendition. If one can play and sing like that, one can go through this life saying “I’ve felt the blues in my fingertips, I can go in peace”. Even if you’ll still do it for decades.

    Nobody can play this song as well as you Daddy. You have truly opened my mind to music again my friend thank you. You're helping me look at its simplicity, I'm on a musical mission of less is more. With that salty voice and perfect time, nobody does it it better then you. You take us all back in time in style..

Will this message suffice to get me the tab for this fine old slow blues tune? Playing on an Alvarez Yairi PYM70 I got last spring, a cool little 12-fret parlor.

    Dear Daddy,
    I just clicked through the tab link to yer site...
    I couldn't find any option to download the tab to Trouble Mind...
    It isn't a freebie, is it? 😌🤔

    • @daddystovepipe
      @daddystovepipe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, it's not a freebee. There are two links, the first one guides you to the page of the Ragtime and Blues pack (11 songs for the advertised price, Trouble in Mind included). If you just want the tab to Trouble in Mind, then use the second link which leads you to a page where you can pay for a single individual tab. The videolesson is free, so you can learn this without tab, but it will take you much longer.

    Interrupting the song in the middle to show ads completely ruins an otherwise superlative performance

    • @daddystovepipe
      @daddystovepipe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the kind words. I watched the performance in its intirely and it's not interrupted at my end....if so, then that's something TH-cam does. I also always post the performance without the lesson th-cam.com/video/dE9wHPtG44A/w-d-xo.html and that video has no ads. Just do a search with "daddystovepipe" and the title of the song, or sub and you'll see. The lessons have ads to "compensate" me for my work (we're talking about nickles and dimes), if you think that's too high a price...then click away, it's still a free world, here and there.
