Flo jo was my hero when I was little I knew I was going to be a combination of her and Pam Grier. Winning gold metals and kicking the butt of bad guys lol. I even had her barbie doll!!! 💜💜💜RIP Flo jo
I live 20 mins from there 😀💖,its a beautiful Cemetery, relatively new, didn't realize those folks were buried there except for Flo-Jo, great video as always Steve!....Thank You!
I loved WKRP! Especially when they did the Turkey Drop play by play! We had a huge crush on Gary Sandy and thought Howard Hessman was the show ! Never missed an episode! Such a funny show! Thank you Steve for this vlog! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Add me to the list of people who still watch WKRP. My son gave me all the seasons for Christmas a couple years ago and to me it still stands up. Really hard to get a grasp on how old the cast is now.
Good Morning, Steve 🎄 Happy Holidays ⛄ Thank you so much for sharing this great memory and interesting information with everyone , God richly bless you all ! 12/13/2020
The show was great with an outstanding cast. I actually met Gordon Jump in person at Disneyland years ago, he was so approachable and friendly, even offered my sister and I some popcorn he had! Thanks for the post.
That show was hysterical I guess you could say I'm not surprised that most of the cast is still alive although up in age. Thx for the tour though and it was lovely to see the Christmas decorations. It probably makes it easier for people when they go visit their loved ones gravesites. (Just a side note I think think they could do without the social distancing sign really too much).
Hey Steve 👋, absolutely loved WKRP ❤, and still watch it all the time 😀 can't pick a favorite cause the cast was awesome!! So glad that many of them are still with us, have a great holiday season, big hugs for mom and as always you know "Howdy from Texas "!!
Always looking forward to your amazing channel and thank you for going out of your way in being safe these graves.you go in let people see who Celebrites going to visit.have safe peaceful holiday season with your family.
Once again thank you for doing these videos!! I watched that show all the time it was on television; loved every episode of it!! As a young kid back then had a crush on Loni Anderson had posters of her as well; back to today and I am sure that every person who has passed on have a legacy that you're telling us what they did and how much they entertaining us paving the way for eternity and beyond!! You do things so well and thanks for the memories!!!
I have a t-shirt commemorating the Thanksgiving turkey drop. I'm sure that is the most well-known episode. Another episode I really liked was when they wrote Jingle for a funeral home and sang it themselves as to not have to pay anyone. The song is hilarious. The moral of the story is that Andy wouldn't let them use the song because a funeral home ad should not be funny. It was a name something like Fentimans Funeral Home. I'm sure that's not the right name but they were never allowed to put out the entire series on DVD because of all the copyrights involved for the songs that they played. I don't know if that was ever resolved. Probably my third favorite episode was when they thought Jennifer had no plans for Christmas so everyone brought her a Christmas tree.
I loved WKRP. When he was doing the Maytag commercials he came to the appliance store that my husband worked as a manager. My husband spent several minutes talking to Gordon and I have a picture taken of the 2 of them. He apparently was a very sweet guy. RIP Gordon. Thanks Steve.🙂
Hi Steve,! I didn't know Flo Jo had passed. Thank you for sharing it. It's nice to know that most of the cast is still with us. I really enjoyed this one. Thank you Steve. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵 🎄
Hi Steve thank for visiting this cemetery at this time of the year those holiday decorated gravesites look awesome. Also thank for reminding me about the WKRP show, I read a comment about the famous Turkey Scene I immediately remembered when I saw it I laughed soo hard I got a cough 🤣🤣🤣. Thank you for ALL you do Steve Blessings for you, your mom and loved ones. Take Care Be Safe
Thank you for showing the gravesites from WKRP cast ! Enjoying all of your videos ! Youre a lovley man ! Im 64 years old . Are you in my age group ? I dont mind saying im 64 ! You look great no matter what age you are ! Have a nice day !
Thanks for the update on the WKRP cast. One of my all time favorite shows. I have a lifelong crush on Bailey(Jan). I also ordered the entire 86 original episodes via cds. It is my favorite binge watch by far.
I still catch WKRP in reruns. I also remember Jump as the Maytag repairman. I felt sorry for him almost wishing he did have something to fix! 🧺 I was just a little kid. Merry Christmas!🎄
My uncle is buried in that cemetery. He died in 1980 and his grave was initially unmarked as he had been out of contact with family at the time of his passing. I looked it up when I was in Cali in 2004 and arranged to have it marked. The office was open on that day to give me info and they were extremely helpful. I do agree that finding graves, even marked ones, is difficult there without a map and assistance. RIP Leroy William Brannas
Thank you Steve for sharing your video on this show I used to watch it but I don't see it to much but I remember the star's if we don't see you before Christmas have a safe and happy Christmas and happy new year to you and your family.
I never missed WKRP. I had a crush on Jan Smithers. I think "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly" is one of the funniest lines ever spoken in a tv show. Seeing the big guy and Herb covered in feathers helped.
Steve - I thought it was only my parish cemetery in which people lavishly decorated their loved ones grave for Christmas! Boy, oh boy.... some of the folks over at El Toro go all-out on the decorating for the holidays. The maintenance man at my parish cemetery would have a fit if he saw the extremes shown in you video! ; ) Good job Steve - I very much enjoy your work; it is nice to see others share my interest in exploring cemeteries.
Loved WKRP, we used to tease a co worker who’s clothing choice was wacky. We used to always ask him if Herb Tarlek knew he stole his wardrobe. I’m also a huge fan of the Turkey episode.
I was in high school cross country during the 1988 summer Olympics (yes I am that old) and the talk was all about Flo-Jo and how talented and pretty she was and we hoped we had a good season like she did at the Olympics (sadly we made regionals but not state). I read the Christmas Box and the sequels (and saw the movies), I thought they were great. Thanks for the WKRP information, my first love was radio, and since I was 3 I wanted to be a radio announcer. I went to school for it, worked in it but had to quit because of the lack of jobs. Loved it so much and was even involved with the radio hall of fame (and was a voting member and invited to all the events including the opening). A true story about Tim Reid, he started working for someone my mom later worked for and he was good friends with Tom Dreesen who was in an episode where he played the only white guy at a black station. My dad grew up with him and his family, in fact, I recently went to an event (yes social distancing and wore a mask) for a relative of his. They were one of the first multiracial comedy acts and even though they started in Chicago, as progressive as a city it is still faced some obstacles. Loved WKRP, especially Bailey because she is so much like me, a shy, nerdy, pretty brunette with glasses who is a bit insecure about her talents. People I knew in radio often made comparisons about me to her and I agreed and flattered. Radio used to be like WKRP, now due to corporations owning radio, not so much true now.
Hi Steve! Great vlog as always. This was a great show . Lonnie Anderson was married to Bert Reynolds. Happy Holidays !! Stay safe and keep on vloggin! Deborah. Winnipeg, Canada
I didn’t have a TV (by choice) when WKRP was popular but I did see it a few times when over at friends homes. It was very funny. It is possible that it even seemed funnier since I didn’t watch the shows all the time.
Thanks Steve. I miss that show being on. Haven't even seen reruns of it. Thanks for your hard work in finding these graves. I'm on findagrave, look me up.
The turkey drop is still the greatest episode ever! Great video, Steve!
I remember that episode. They dropped them from a helicopter and didn't know they couldn't fly!
Yep!
Yes it is
Les on the ground reporting it it was so funny

Awesome Ashley 😊👍
I didnt know Flo Jo passed away, what a sad and tragic loss.
I didn’t know either. I really admired her as a athlete. So sad.
Ironically Flo-Jos daughter was never an athlete, but she is a great dancer, singer-songwriter.
Hopefully a subject Steve won't be vlogging😉
Gordon Jump also appeared in the first episode of the Partridge family.
Do you have a good memory Ken 😊👍
I did not know Flo-Jo had died. My father knew Whittinghill. I was never a big WKRP fan, but I enjoy your historical tributes.
On the Corner of Olympiad and Alicia Pkwy (in Mission Viejo), there is a memorial statue of Flo-Jo.
@@bobmorgan1762 Thanks for mentioning that.
Still can’t surf past this show when I come across it…timeless 👌
I live 20 mins from there 😀💖,its a beautiful Cemetery, relatively new, didn't realize those folks were buried there except for Flo-Jo, great video as always Steve!....Thank You!
It seems like a new cemetery, but the plaque says it was founded in the 1800s!! 😳
WKRP in Cincinnati, and the lonely Maytag man. Your choice was one the nicest memories and it being Christmas makes it sweeter. Stay Safe

Shoot! I forgot Festivus and solstice. Have a happy one Miles 😊👍
Watched KRP in Cincinnati in its day. Really good and glad to know a lot of the actors are still with us.
I met Gordon Jump when I was working at Sears in the 90's. He was dressed as the Maytag repairman and I was able to chat with him for a bit.
Thanks Steve! I really enjoy your narrations on famous people that have passed away. You have a pleasant voice.
Thanks Bama, I appreciate that 😊👍

Gordon Jump lived in my gated community here in Trabuco Canyon. He had a voice-over class at Saddleback College for years.

THING ABOUT THE TURKEY SCENE, IS THAT TURKEYS REALLY CAN FLY!
