Here's something you might be interested in testing. From what I see, size 10 torp travel at 275 m/s. It easily got shot down by another Polaris's point def from far away even it fired 4 torp in a row. I think we really need to fire a bunch of missiles with it too and you can't fire it at the same time because missiles to reach point def range way way before size 10 torp does. We need to know the range of point def, distance between you and the target, speed of size 10 torp and speed of missiles. So we can fire missiles at the right time so it enter point def range just before size 10 torp does. So, point def will be shooting that those missiles instead of size 10 torp.
That was amazing! May I suggest next time (maybe a rematch?) try to do it on the sunny side of a planet? It’s a bit hard to enjoy the action when it’s so dark

A cap-v-cap fight should be a spectacle that demands time and effort from all sides, cause capitals should be foundational lynchpins for org-v-org. CIG's done decent on first blush with the figures. Now they gotta refine the ship, the numbers (and the interior of the Polaris. Its got some rough spots still and is missing the Capt's Quarters) for PU release and proper Flight Ready and do the same for the rest of the capitals.

There is 21mil DMG in those 28xs10 torps. If they fought same way against Idris with it's 30k guns DPS they'd probably be dead in 2 minutes.

Nice video. I thought for sure that the multi-crew ships would last that long and in the future there would not be enough time for engineering and ship repairs but I was pleasantly surprised to see there may be enough survivability for engineering game play.
Going to be crazy for sure but won't be as easy since the idris has a fuckton of pdt, I wonder if one can precision mode those turrets so that the torps has an easier time just demolishing the ship after those are down.

Although cool, I personally don't like curated fake battles because they are not indicative of how such encounters would actually resolve spontaneously in game.
I remember doing MRT with ballistics setup in the night at MT recently. Looked like same kind of visual mess, Even worse because of small distance. Couldn't see sht.
is it a glitch that those side turrets weapons fire veers way off but still hits? I keep seeing turret gunners shooting completely off the mark, not even being close despite being point blank range in the polaris. Does the game just not register the visuals properly like missiles or is that just the skill issue? lol

Maybe it is possible to oversaturate Idris PDT with multiple missiles barrage. One Polaris can shoot 4xS10, 8xS3, 4xS2 simultaneously. It is very classic tactic.

foxy polaris had two ballistics s6 as chin weapons and in the other polaris we had full attritions
if this was vs avengers polaris, he already said the crashing into his ship was not fair or nice play.
