I was waiting for this review, and am so glad I did! I am putting in my order for the game now. Thanks again for all your insight and videos!
Got this for Christmas and we thinknits a great game!
Questions can we play a dragon card on each page? Rules are not clear?
Changing the magic book
Important: Before you play cards in front of you, you
may change the magic book in your favour!
To do this, place a card from your hand, face down, on
either the left or right page of the magic book.
Note: You may place one card from your hand on each
page of the magic book.
Question 2: can we play all magic chest? I noticed in one of the examples of the rule boom we can use more than one but the rules say otherwise?
When setting up the game, shufle the 6 magic chests face down and then reveal
1 of them. The other 5 magic chests go back into the box. In this game you have
1 powerful item from the magic chest at your disposal,
You can change both. Everyone can use the magic items if they pay the gem cost.
Dan, I am in agreement with/can relate to what you said on a gamer's first impression - "where is the game here" - so on a later first game try, I too will look for "the penny to drop". I should like a game such as this but am currently sceptical/on the fence.
Hello Dan ! After watching alot of your videos, I realized our taste are VERY similar and I always appreciate your thoughts on games. I immediatly bought this one after your review. Thanks and keep up the great work :)
Hope you enjoy! This one doesn't seem to be hitting for everyone
My favorite game from the Messe so far.
Easy to teach,
Interesting and fun to play and short play time. The only thing I dislike is the preparation time, with the amulett tiles😅
Haha yeah that's a slight annoyance
Thanks for reviewing a great game that otherwise I would probably pass by thinking it was more for children. It obviously plays best at higher counts but how do you think it fares at 2 players?
I enjoy it with 2 but it's noticeably better with 3/4
@@ChairmanoftheBoardThanks, Dan.
Did I miss how players collect the eggs?
They're on the back of the cards like the other scoring
