Anyone can herd sheep, but have you ever herded dragons?
In Dragonkeepers, you compete against each other as magicians. Two stacks of cards form the "Magic Book", which indicates which and how many dragons can be herded. With each card taken, this information changes, but luckily you can cast spells and return your cards to the Magic Book to change it in your favor and score! But which of your dragons can you spare to cast spells?

4.5 - Love this game! At the same time missing something that would make it a 5. Could be hard to table, lacking variability, a little light, etc.
4.0 - Really great game, almost always keeping, although has meaningful complaints as to what takes away from the experience.
3.5 - Really enjoyed, don't love it, may lose out to better games but the idea of never playing again is a bit sad.
3.0 - A good game, would play and suggest with the right people, if I never played it again wouldn't lose any sleep.
2.5 - A game I'd play again , but will never suggest it myself
2.0 - A game I don't want to play again
1.5 - A game I can't find any reason to recommend
1.0 - A game that is just bad.

Might pick this up to play with my non-gamer wife. She might like the cute dragons. Probably won't. Shouldn't waste my money. Going to waste my money. Not a waste, game looks good. Going to get played? Probably not. Back to a waste of money. Still going to buy it? Yep.

This game gives me vibes of "Medieval Academy" somewhat - a fun card drafting game where you are battling for different areas of the board. Our family played a lot of Medieval Academy when we discovered it.

Yikes... not to be confused with Dragon Keepers, released in 2019. I kept seeing this thinking I already owned it but nope, it's a very different game!
