This only proves that MU 1999 did not crown the wrong girl.. I am a fan of this girl.. and her english has gone much better compared to how she spoke during the pageant. Bless you more.

She is an amazing young woman indeed. Very humble and not showy. She didn't even try to hide her family's struggles with money growing up. To me that is amazing. Makes her even more special and a true representative and a fighter for those marginalized.
Her passion for equality comes from seeing her mother struggle as a single mother to give them a chance to survive. Love her very much.

Actually she was the third African woman to clinch Miss Universe crown (after Margareth Gardner from South Africa and Michelle McLean from Namibia). I loved the interview, woman of substance, so smart, so articulate. What a pleasure to know from her and how commited she is in this projects she is involved in.
