Hi is the screen identical to the book 2? I am trying to order a screen at aliexpress but they only sell book 2 15inches and i have model book 3 15 inch
I know the video is a bit older but could you tell me if you've noticed a substantial difference between the original and replacement display? I have found several options online and they sometimes differ x2 in prices as some firms sell them for 200 EUR and some only for 92-100 EUR. I assume though that both variants would be not the original displays so I'm worried about the quality.
you can remove the screen without breaking it and without heatgun and suction cup. All you need are sticker remover liquid and thin plastic sheet (aka. phone screen protector) and sheer will!. It took around 3 hours)
I had exactly the same pattern crack on my SB2 in the same corner three months after purchase from MS directly - they refused to replace it and admit it's a design flaw. Now the hairline crack spread diagonally all the way to the opposite corner. All this WITHOUT dropping or mishandling the laptop.
Any Advice? I was able to follow all the steps with a walmart bought quality guaranteed Quality Controlled screen for my 15 inch screen. When it came time to test the screen, the test did not go well. When powering it on with the new screen, I got a very feint windows logo on a very dark screen, and then that disappeared and the screen went to complete black. The fan turned on and the computer made the power on sound as usual. Any advice on what to do?

Does the pen still work with this display?
Where is the battery located at? I have one as well. I believe it needs new battery
The tablet and keyboard each have their own battery. The tablet battery is tuck behind the screen and motherboard.

Can you swap only the glass and not the whole Display?
