Got mine, and right away I had to get a new speed control, as the one in the plane was not working? I also found out that the R.C. Sailers on U Tub had the same problem. So check out your speed control.. A new one is 54$ plus shipping. Nice video. i called Horizon Hobby and let them know about the issue.
You paid $159.00 for V900?I just got my V900 about a month ago and I paid 199.00 and that's with the receiver.I think I over paid for it,but I do love this plane.
Thank you for this video ! You answered a lot of questions I had before I was going to my mine . the next nice day I’m taking mine out for the Maiden rip
How did it went? Do you still have it and fly it? I am wondering if I should get one now, I know I am a bit late but maybe you can convince me after flying it for while?
Great video I got the V900 and I'm still waiting for the winter to end so I can fly mine.I prefer to epoxy the stab on.Im glad to see the low speed performance.I plane to use it to fly pattern and fun sport style type flying.Im glad I got your video,I'm fimilure with your company you do a great job.
Its my kind of plane.I just got mine and it's still in the box.I love a sleek sport pattern plane.I paid $200.00 for mine.I love it and haven't flown it yet.Just playing with it.Its replacing a scratch built plane I built out of balsa. It crashed due to a lock out in my spektrum radio.I got 12 years and 2000 flights out of it.

Thanks for the video Jason, looks like another great out of the box plane. I still love my F27 Evo and i still smile when I fly it of course i up the esc and prop so mine is about 115-120 now. Does anyone really fly a plane like this mostly at WOT? my packs get HOT when i fly lot of WOT, i norm. do a fast pass then fly around so some rolls loops or something then another fast pass. i fly like 3 mins on the F27.
Very good review (that made me subscribe😉)! I'd like to own this beautiful plane but I really wonder if I could fly it slowly like at the beginning of your video. It'd be my 3rd plane - and first fast one- and I hear that with Safe on it does not turn quick enough! May I ask your opinion? Thanks again!
hi could you help i have one its really good but when i throw it for take off i am getting lots of roll i think its coming from the motor ,show i put it in self leave mode for take off
@@rcgvideos thanks there for that one last thing the cg of the plane should it sit leave as i cannot get the battery eny closer to the front ,all the ones i have seen looking alot more to the back i must be doing something incorrect
Great video. Very informative, and I love that everything from the unboxing to the flight review was packed into this 11 minute video. One question, how would you compare this plane to the Hobby King EFX Racer? I feel like they are similar planes, but this one seems to have more space for a bigger 4s.
After having both planes, I have to say I prefer the EFX Racer. It just seems to track a little better and I like the way it looks better. The V900 does have more room to work with and it's by no means less of a plane, it's just more of a personal preference thing.
Very good video . This probably sounds like a VERY stupid question but would you recommend this as a first plane? I’ve flown on Realflight and have a couple Traxxas cars, so I wouldn’t call myself a noob
I really wouldn't as a first plane. Although it will really depend on your skills. Using SAFE Select mode and flying around half throttle or so will make it manageable, but there are better planes for learning the ropes on.
Ok, thanks.. I wouldn’t try anything like speed runs till I really learned how to fly it.. my hobby shop has a deal where I believe I can get this for $125. I already have a DX6i
rcgvideos cool, thanks! I’ll have to look into that. So do you think something like a Carbon Cub S+ or a Timber X would be a better starter plane than this?

Awesome flying and great video.
When I tried to buy it, it said that the black spinner was the latest version. What is the difference between the silver spinner and the spinner?
Nice video ! Quick question . I bought the habu sts jet and was wondering if I can use my transmitter, battery and battery charger for this plane ?
Depends on which battery if it will fit or not, but sure the transmitter will bind to it.
I had 1 of these and slapped an os15 on it,great fun longer flight times but lost a lot of the speed.Im thinking about getting another

Is it safe to glide with the throttle off? Enjoy a dive after ascending vertically like a hotliner glider
Yeah it will glide just fine, just watch your speed and keep it above stall speed.
Nice review gents. Hopefully this is offered without a radio. AS3X is not for me.
Why are you not for AS3X?

Hi did you use safe for launching on the vid Jason?
I don't, but I'm a Lefty so I already have my right hand on the stick. The Horizon guys were launching in SAFE mode at their event a few weeks ago.

Were your hand launches using Safe?
No, not really needed being a lefty launcher, but helpful for right handed pilots.
Luv this plane!! Nice job flying it! 4s 2200 is super fast.
Thanks for sharing. Would be great to see the performance on 3s too. Nice vid anyways.
The video uses both 3S and 4S packs for the flight portion.

yes

That prop but looks a bit suspect. The adaptor isn't long enough and the nut is only on by a thread or two.
It's actually not. That photo was taken before it was tightened. It just hand put on for a quick photo showing the process. It goes on fully.
hi could you help i have one its really good but when i throw it for take off i am getting lots of roll i think its coming from the motor ,show i put it in self leave mode for take off
SAFE Select will help for take off. Also only go just above half throttle, no need for full power and the associated torque effect if produces.

Yep!
How would ir be for a beginner?

Not good. It's a fast advanced plane, you should have prior aileron plane experience before flying this model.
It’s with every thing, I can get 16 mpg in my Lamborghini when I’m good then some days I get 2 mpg!!!
