Reminds me of the days a few years ago when my club was racing this airframe, along with the eflight Rare Bear, and efx extra. .Not unusual to see 20,000 rpm on the EF 8x8 prop, producing 155-160!mph. The sound produced from prop will never leave my ears!!
I’ve seen a V900 was clocked at 165mph with 100c discharge. I had one before. I paint the spinner black. I put a 2200mah 4s spectrum battery 100c discharge. I took it way up and dive it down 170mph on a dive but heads up the wings are weak you pull hard it will snap in half. I don’t have that anymore she evolved into the V1200 with 6s 140mph. Faster then a V900. I got my V1200 up at 188mph I smoke a turbine jet with it. You gonna love my videos

Smoking! Great flyin' too! Friend of mine has the V1200 at the field and holy cow how about breaking the sound barrier! Love to see a speed trial 900 and the 1200! Lately I've been adding magnets using epoxy and some tape as I've had battery hatches and canopy's coming off on a few planes.
Does eflite make a plane that can go 20 flights without a repair? I'm just asking because mine was broke out of the box. And after a few flights, I had to ca glue the hinges. I've had planes that have gone multiple flights with 0 repairs. FMS, Great Planes, Flyzone. Is eflite a good brand or what? My Great Planes Super Sportster electric foamie has 24 hours of flight time on it, and 0 hinge failure. I think eflite puts profits over people.
I bet it could have hit 150 on a blue sky low humidity day :) I enjoy these little 1 meter pylon racers. The HK models are all well made and do 110 to 130 out of the box. I just built an EFXtra and its a real screamer.
I don't own that airplane anymore so I couldn't help you. But I just had it in the battery Bay. There's not a lot of room for it to go c.G was set to the manual

On straight level flight on a V900 153mph. Still fast as hell.

Yeah I heard over 150mph is the threshold of the wings and fuselage the v1200 I've had is stupid fast at over 180mph...pretty freaking sweet

@@Mikeylikesit1968 100c discharge is a big difference and it’s 5c discharge. You can charge it up right away. It makes it go faster then a 30c

Sure it could hit 150, with a strong enough tailwind. It's GPS.
I've had this plane for 2 years. Have never flown it because I don't have an area large enough. But, I just moved to greener pastures!!!

You think you could launch this plane without As3x or SAFE? I've tried with 3 different receivers and no luck.
I've never tried but I'd think k the torque of the motor would make it difficult

Wheres your lipo position.... have 3 cell in order to get it to balance it has to go right back up to the servos...
