Take into consideration the original price! Just because the car is now affordable to purchase, the maintenance, insurance and running costs are still that of the original price, if not more because people haven’t looked after it.
Some great cars in this list... If I had to choose one, well, if I was in the market for one... Hmmm I'd go either for the M4 or the F-Type... But not the entry level one... Or maybe the S4 Estate (I love an Estate)...
It's actually mad to say the Ghibli's 0-60 isn't quick at 6 seconds 😂 still a decently fast car especially for a large saloon. Also weird to state that the Velar is "slow" 0-60 but most people won't be getting a massive SUV for traffic light drag racing lmao
BTW the AWD isn't UK spec, but your right the Veloce is the one I'm shopping for. Got to be the best in that price bracket. Holding out for Misano Blue with the yellow calipers 😍
@@cbarronie2361 I currently own a white Veloce, graphite wheels, and red calipers. If you or anyone is interested haha? great car never had a problem with mine and defiantly holds its own on the road!
I think a cool car you could have mentioned is an Abarth 124 Spider, im a bit biased because I have a Fiat 124 S design myself but its such a fun car, its the most fun you can have for the money, not the quickest but a 1.4 turbo thats RWD with a 6 speed manual makes it so so good, as always a great video🫶
I'd pick the F-Type or S4 - both have made my shortlist at least once! M4 did too and is fantastic, but it's not special enough to beat those other 2 once you consider running costs. Edit: Although the SL made my long list more than anything on this list, the interior is just too dated now so I never bothered with a test drive. Not sure the B9 S4 looks expensive...but it was a lot better than I expected, genuinely a very good car for daily use (although it does Audisteer, of course). The Covette C5 may not even be a great car, but for £20k in the UK it's surely hard to draw more attention that's almost entirely positive. I don't want one, but I'll get pretty excited if I see one. The Model S power listings on Autotrader are just balls - as I type this there are 3x P90D on there, listed as 417hp, 701hp and 765hp. Then again, there's an unmodified Ford Ranger that apparently has 3210hp (only 3000 out). Apparently, Tesla are now saying the reality is 463hp, or 532hp with Ludicrous mode. My unscientific guess: all of those are wrong, but based on the acceleration and what EVs generally can do, the Tesla current figures sound plausible, seems someone called out their prior questionable marketing practices. Not that they'd have any marketing lies now, of course (wink, cough, etc). Anyway, the Velar is the only car on this list I don't like. Or kind of, it'd be a great mile muncher but it has no reason to be an SUV and the reliability is just unnacceptable.
Oh yes... the high mileage cars kept cosmetically clean, that people buy and immediately put on a private plate. Would be more informative to mention their original RPP, as that gives an idea of depreciation based on usage as well as age. Funny that the lowest mileage was the maserati, which ptobably because spent more time in workshop. 😅
Good list until I saw the disposable car at number 1. Would go for the M4 but hard to find one that hasn't been ragged to death. Next choice the S4 but it's a station wagon.
Your information about issues of Cars is very wrong and not detailed properly among most videos you do. One of example is the S4, All the 2.9 VAG Engine such as RS4, RS5, etc has MASSIVE ENGINE ISSUE, The Rocker Arms Break and Piston Cracks ! HENCE Why its SO Cheap Now, The BMW M4 Has CRANKHUB ISSUES
Keep up the good work my friend!! M4 f type cayenne on my radar!!! Cheers darren
Another top vid! M4 coupe manual 👍

Lotus Elise 1.8 2dr is a good one most second hand are under 20k

How are you do you manage to maintain the c5 as it’s a American car will need its parts imported if needed
Thoughts on the 2.0 F Type and do you feel 100,000 miles still fine for these cars re ongoing maintenance?
Why didn't you mention the 280 bhp Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0T AWD Veloce? That car is still in production, but the earliest models are quite affordable.

can we have a new under 30k video please. 2 years since your last one
It's never a video about depreciation without a Maserati in it🤣
Please do one under 10K
no to the S4!
Best suvs to buy for 20k?
not to hate or anything but the Model S P90D has 700hp or 515kw i think its the normal P90 thats 450hp but that one doesnt do 0-60 in 3.3s
Try grt an insurance qoute on a Range...go on do it for a laugh

But its not a cool car that looks expensive. Looks like a toy. Glad you like it though
BMW 640 should be here
not under 20k
@@delanovanderwilt6813 lots of them under £20k with less than 40k mileage.

An older Tesla can’t be that desirable. How much for a change of batteries?
Ain’t no way Tesla is #1 💀😂
Don't buy this crap, these are the most unrelaible cars you can buy, they are "cheap" for a reason.

I'm looking to buy the BMW 4 series 2.0d
Do it. I have a 435d, had it 3.5 years. Great car.
@@bmwevodunc great thank you
Got to be the f-type for me JB ?
They all ULEZ mate
Tesla #1 😥
The BMW hands down
M4s have become really chavvy now. Too many of them on council estates. Good brand destroyed.
If you want a vehicle stolen……..buy a Range Rover!
Wouldn't touch any of them with a barge pole except the M4. Money pits.
BMW for me, just beating the Audi S4. Have owned a B8 2.0 TFSI Quattro for a decade.

We call them estates, much better than saloons.
I don’t think they look expensive, they are actually expensive, just depreciated!!

is anyone buying second hand cars with 100k miles? isn't that too much of a risk for £20k?
Teslas are shitheaps
