This video is a review of the most expensive stay on my Japan 2023
The room I stayed in is Japanese-style and can sleep 1-4 persons. It is one of the few rooms in the ryokan that has more than one window, and the view to: Asakusa Tourist Information Center, Kaminarimon, Nakamise Street, Tokyo Skytree, and Sensoji Temple.
At breakfast, I enjoyed a delicious traditional Japanese meal box consisting of many small dishes. Although it costs extra 3,000 Yen, it is an example of the ryokan's omotenashi, or mindfulness of the customer's experience.
This room is a lot more expensive than other rooms in this ryokan. If you want a room with great views to the abovementioned landmarks or are celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary, or making preparations for a proposal, then this room and this ryokan is perfect. The address is:
1 Chome-18-2 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032, Japan
    〒111-0032 東京都台東区浅草1丁目18−2

Very detailed and informative walkthrough! For someone who enjoys taking photos and doing timelapses, I can definitely see the appeal - particularly from that first window's view. I wanted to ask, was there a specific dish from their breakfast that you particularly enjoyed? Was the food brought up to you? Or did you have to go down to eat it in a common area?

Thank you! Breakfast is served in a small dining area next to the lobby. The entire meal was delicious, but I have a soft spot for simmered konnyaku and they did an amazing job.

Thanks for your feedback. Not all of the rooms have "landmark" views, and it is hard to figure out which rooms give you views unless you read each room's description in the website. Generally, the smaller rooms faces a courtyard and not have views. Prices reflect the views and it is worth it if you have two or more people. But hope you get to stay in this hotel.
