Overweight and body fat are not mutually inclusive, there's plenty of people who can lose wight but still maintain body fat. I've also seen large Men lose weight but still have the same body fat percentage, (I saw that a lot in the Army).
It makes sense to reject someone for an unchangeable characteristic that you don't find attractive in a partner than a changeable one. You can lose weight, and become more attracted, you can't grow taller (if your an adult)

As a 5'8" man, I like to pretend I know what's it's like to be short... Then I meet men shorter than me and realize I got fairly lucky. 5'8" is basically the cutoff point for most women because 90% of women are not over 5'7".

Heights important but if your shorter it isn’t a killer. At the end of the day you have to be confident about it and own it. But at 5’3 or below like the two guys in the video it’s really rough. If your 5’6 like the other guy your chilling although it’ll be a bit harder.
These coatches are partially right, so are you. I'm 173 cm (5'8), 34 years old. I have slept with much, much more women compared to my average tall male friends. One of them is 193 cm for example (I think thats what, 6'3?). In the club he would just stand there and women would approach him like flies come to poo. Most of them of course would be very short. Still my personal count for short-term relationships is more than 3x compared to him, education is higher, pay is higher and my partner now is better looking than his. I knew a 170 cm guy, who was PERFECT in social situations. He never went to the club and never said why. Of course we know why. Because there he would get crushed. So he did the bar-game and what he pulled there... damn... it was unbelievable. Every single time we went to a bar with him, he would smile flirt with the ladies and pull one after another. He had good teeth, an attractive smile, but wasn't particularly good-looking and he wasn't trained, but when he spoke, you would want to hear what he has to say, because he was educated in many fields. He also perfectly well played e-guitar, what definitely helped him much. So to tell you how it really is: you need to "put yourself out there". Meaning 2-3 times a week you have to go out and socialize. Doing this constantly you will get to know many people, including women. For that you need the right clique/friends, if you don't have it, it will be hard, especially as going out in the night as a single short guy can be dangerous. People love victimizing us short guys and threat us according to that, since they don't see us as physical threat. Counter that by going to the gym. Dating apps? Forget that crap. Women will brutally filter on height, because they can. You need to take them the opportunity to filter and this means, dating needs to be done face-to-face, where more than only pictures and height can be transported. Going to the gym 3x a week also is a must. For every man, not only short(er) guys. Do the compound lift movements routine. Man won't tell, but they will react by giving respect, as building muscle is hard to build and takes time and effort. Some of them will still mock you, but fook those losers. Remember you can't plesae everyone, and its also not your duty in life to please everyone, since most of people are average in their minds, meaning, their opinion is worthless and you can't tie your self-confidence to the opinion of worthless people. Bruce Lee had training and technique....take that away and he's not a very big guy. As the old adage says, "a good big man, will beat a good small man most of the time". Put Bruce Lee (hypothetically) at his prime against a larger, stronger version of himself who is just as fast and talented and the smaller version loses pretty much every time. Combat sports have weight classes for a reason...boxing, MMA, wrestling, judo etc..... A longer reach, which most taller guys have does give them a distinct advantage in sports like boxing and MMA (in the stand up) Height matters less on the ground.

I'm 6'2" as well, and I only started to notice this when I was in college when my shorter friends had problems getting dates. Consider for a moment that women are more than OK making height a major determining characteristic when choosing a male, but if men look at breast size or if we prefer larger breasts etc....(not that all men do) then we're called "pigs" at worst or at the least "shallow". Mom’s 5’4 and dad is 5’7, I was expected to be 5’8 and I became 5’11. I will always never take for granted my height because it’s honestly lucky that I made it to where I am with myself. Also I know preference is a thing and tall is just as much of a preference for other things like hair, face, voice and physique. What usually gets under my skin when seeing these people say they want tall is that they are also rude as fuck to short guys as well like they would laugh at them or tell them they’re straight up worthless.
A big part of height depends on the diet and nutrition you had as a kid, genetics is just one part of it. I'm taller than both my parents, but still short to everyone else 😔 my brother got to eat way more and he's taller than the rest of us. If I had a kid and he grew up taller than me, I'd be proud
Height is almost strictly genetics, my father is 6’1 and my mother is 5’3 but I only grew somewhat between them at 5’7 (I’m a male). My grandfather (mother’s father) is also 5’7 & we have similar characteristics body wise.. if only my father mated with someone taller or within his height range, I would’ve grown somewhere around his height. It’s that simple. Funny thing is I look exactly like my father just 6 inches shorter lol.

A few years ago at work, a woman who was 5'7 and probably weighed 230lbs was talking to another woman near me and I overheard her say "I dont know... The irony is, past 5'6" the risk of cancer compared to the background population gets disproportionately high for every inch, mostly because it's just too much mass in general for the immune system to deal with. Beyond that, the irony is that, the shorter the woman, the more likely they are to insist on a taller than average man (so - 6ft+), yet, genetically, they could then easily have a son who lands well under 6ft, because of the mother's height. The grocery store Albertsons featured this in their computer training program upon being hired. They pointed out that a former store manager rose to CEO because of his height. It showed him among other managers and asked us to guess who became CEO. He towered over the others by at least 8 inches. So to tell you how it really is: you need to "put yourself out there". Meaning 2-3 times a week you have to go out and socialize. Doing this constantly you will get to know many people, including women. For that you need the right clique/friends, if you don't have it, it will be hard, especially as going out in the night as a single short guy can be dangerous. People love victimizing us short guys and threat us according to that, since they don't see us as physical threat. Counter that by going to the gym.
Dating apps? Forget that crap. Women will brutally filter on height, because they can. You need to take them the opportunity to filter and this means, dating needs to be done face-to-face, where more than only pictures and height can be transported.
Going to the gym 3x a week also is a must. For every man, not only short(er) guys. Do the compound lift movements routine. Man won't tell, but they will react by giving respect, as building muscle is hard to build and takes time and effort. Some of them will still mock you, but fook those losers.
Remember you can't plesae everyone, and its also not your duty in life to please everyone, since most of people are average in their minds, meaning, their opinion is worthless and you can't tie your self-confidence to the opinion of worthless people.
Btw: if you believe doom is upon you literally everywhere, get that crap out of your brain. It's not. You can go around and even sleep with women 11 cm taller than you. Yes, these women are out there. In fact one told me she didn't want a relationship with me, because "too short". Still. Obviously I was good enough to fook her brains out the whole night. A big part of height depends on the diet and nutrition you had as a kid, genetics is just one part of it. I'm taller than both my parents, but still short to everyone else 😔 my brother got to eat way more and he's taller than the rest of us.

Height is almost strictly genetics, my father is 6’1 and my mother is 5’3 but I only grew somewhat between them at 5’7 (I’m a male). My grandfather (mother’s father) is also 5’7 & we have similar characteristics body wise.. if only my father mated with someone taller or within his height range, I would’ve grown somewhere around his height. It’s that simple. Funny thing is I look exactly like my father just 6 inches shorter lol.

A few years ago at work, a woman who was 5'7 and probably weighed 230lbs was talking to another woman near me and I overheard her say "I dont know... I feel like anything under 6ft is short for a man." I pointed out that average in the US is 5'10... and she responds "Yeah... but I just feel like anything under 6ft is short."
Can you imagine if I said "Ya know... I feel like any woman with a BMI over 25 is fat." And then upon being informed that that is within the average range replying "Maybe... but I still feel its fat."
Women are absolutely unapologetic about discriminating against men for any number of attributes. They sure do get upset when men do the same though.
Preferences are preferences and I think people are entitled to have them without being called out.
But I do find it interesting how society is so critical of men who are so cruel and shallow for "fat shaming" women while women who have their preferences (usually for height/size and income) are not called out in nearly the same way. Discrimination against men is accepted... maybe even encouraged.
The irony is, past 5'6" the risk of cancer compared to the background population gets disproportionately high for every inch, mostly because it's just too much mass in general for the immune system to deal with. The average life expectancy for a 6'4"+ dude is like 10 years less than for an average height dude in the US, and it's actually higher for slightly below average height men. Beyond that, the irony is that, the shorter the woman, the more likely they are to insist on a taller than average man (so - 6ft+), yet, genetically, they could then easily have a son who lands well under 6ft, because of the mother's height.
There's a deep irony to that, if so, because that if a son of a very short mother, insisted on only 6ft+ men, landed well under that, say 5'7" or something, they'd consider their own son not worthy of a partner based on their own standards. Pretty fucked up.

The grocery store Albertsons featured this in their computer training program upon being hired. They pointed out that a former store manager rose to CEO because of his height. It showed him among other managers and asked us to guess who became CEO. He towered over the others by at least 8 inches. It's just sad that someone was entrusted with the future of a multi billion dollar company not because of skill but solely height. That's just scary to think all these huge decisions that affect lives come down to how someone looks moreso than their values and character. But I do agree women say they value character above anything yet they contradict it time and time again.

Study after study shows the single best predictor for the number of se*xual partners a man will have in his life is his height.
