If you are fully interested in the construction field then you better choose CPM, but if you have other things in mind to change your profession from architecture then choose project management,
Project management has great opportunities than construction management (as this is only limited to construction).

MBA has better value than PGDM as MBA is a degree program and PGDM is diploma. Being said that it also depends from where you have graduated from.

This really depends on a number of things;
Did you study in Canada or have you practiced Law, working in Canada?
Do you have a PMP Certification or are you looking to pursue that?
What does your networking and leadership look like?
I can tell a short story about myself to this effect: I realized I was stuck and wasn't getting desired PM Roles even after possessing the experience. First, I'm a Master Degree holder in Architecture, but had some Tech related Project experiences, I decided to gain the PM Certification gold standard PMI-PMP so as to appeal to employers. I got that and not long after got a very desirable role in a major company.
So back to your situation, I'd say tbh, only you can chart the course of your life perfectly. If you have a background in Law, try to gain knowledge on how to run a law firm from a Project standpoint....or something around that.
Lastly, try to keep an open mind because being a PM is industry agnostic. You can fit into any sector as long as you can manage those SME's in that field.
Oh and don't give up no matter what the Canadian hiring process brings your way. 😉

For Project Management either you have a degree in engineering, science or quantitative fields OR you must have relevant work experience in the industry. So if you have English honors background but have relevant work experience, you can get into Project Management. I hope this clarifies your confusion
