@@NitroIndigo ever heard the "discord" remix by the living tombstone? Or megalovania from undertale? Both songs are instantly recognizable from two notes if you've heard them enough.

This episode was super well done imo. There was a bit of cringe, but the fact that no ponies (other than weird old guy) fall for Big Mac’s disguise turns the potential cringe into actual story/comedy.
The moment I saw the outro scene, I knew what was going to happen. It could've been only that song.

I remember this episode both made me laugh out loud and nearly cry, both in the best way possible. Surely nothing could top this, I thought... for about one week. Seriously, you can just skip the next episode entirely, it's obviously perfect and there are no flaws in it whatsoever.

Another year, another great Everything Wrong With video. With G5 probably not happening until at least 2021 there is a chance that this series ends before G5 does. Also for some reason this particular episode always felt like S2 or S3 to me (well, except for AJ getting a -bootycall- map call) . Maybe it's because of Sisterhooves Social being such an iconic season 2 episode. Or perhaps it's thanks to its pure SoL nature that, in later seasons, was sidelined in favor of more action-driven storytelling.

This episode made me so mad. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were unable to play in the Sisterhooves Social all because their sisters had to go on a trip the one time the race was coming. And when Apple Bloom and Big McIntosh finally won, they get disqualified for "cheating" and then Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash get told that they won instead even though Apple Bloom are actual siblings who worked hard while Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash only refer to each other as "adoptive sisters" and barely did anything to win! I do like the dynamic between Apple Bloom and Big McIntosh, though. It was cute. But this episode just pissed me off especially at the end.

It's strange how cross dressers seem to go for the most extreme they think the other side of the isle is or should be, whereas no one on that side really dresses like that excepting special occasions. No one in ponyville looks like the way big mac tries to portray a female version of himself.
That's part of the theatrical element! It's FUN to exaggerate rather than just play it totally true to life.
Putting a dress on a tank is not going to hide the fact it's still a tank.
