unfortunately, we as a people collective are busy looking for things from abroad, talking about the dollar, as if to say it's our major problem. It doesn't take dollars to fix these places, that will employ and attract us to relax but no, we play politics with everything. I weep for us as a people. keep up the good work BIGWILLZ

Of course we are not perfect Bigwillz, but beyond a doubt Bauchi State is a ream of scenic wonders including more that you've seen, there are numerous tourist sites in Bauchi that are not been taken care of in the meantime but believe me bro, when returned next year you'll see the big difference in Bauchi,Yankari & Sumu as a committed Governor and reformer with an unflagging love for his people and for the betterment of the state, he worked tirelessly to embrace innovative ideas that has today transformed Bauchi state into the focal point of Good governance in Nigeria. Unity and peaceful core existence is our great concern here, we are peaceful people.

So much natural beauty there, just like there is in so much of Nigeria. But there's also the conundrum of how do you retain that natural, unspoiled beauty while at the same time developing it even further as a tourist destination? A lot of people want to see unspoiled places, but want the trappings of modern development at the same time. Unfortunately the two ideals can rarely coexist.

People lie. They want trappings of modern development. You don't believe me? Follow the money. Just look at the most visited places in the world, and you'll have your answer. People idealize one thing, and then do another, so the trick is to follow what people DO not what they SAY. As e be, na so e go be.

With many of these types of tourists sites across Nigeria to uplifting to attract foreign tourists and fix all the existing uncompleted roads and projects around Nigeria that what a visionary leadership will start and not start new Lagos-Calabar coastal road project that will also abandoned. Nigeria still lacking great visionary leadership.

It is sad, cos even in Abeokuta they have the Olumo Rock, in Calabar state heard they had or have cable cars. Not sure if they still work. Our leaders are just chopping money, sending their family/children abroad, their wives are going shopping abroad and partying and the when they are sick because they have not invested in the hospitals are flying abroad for treatments or health check ups. At whose cost? Most likely the public purse, basic things like electricity and running water in some homes do not exist. It is a sad state of affairs

Everything is so unfortunate in Nigeria,if l can see what is needed in a country how come the so called leaders cant seems to see it?l guess you lose sight of something if you've been in it for so long.A dedicated dualcarriage eastern highway to run from calabar to maiduguri, passing through these places for a start.Highly trained professionals to work in the parks, national advertisement,3 and 5 star hotels, renovate the places to always look new..build the internal roads, import more animals from zambia,Botswana etc. Some of Nigerian problem is not just corruption, ignorance is a big part of it.Because the leaders are so ignorant, corruption is a lot easier then.A lot of them can not comprehend what you mean by tourism, they hardly go on tour to visit anywhere themselves, therefore it's hard for them to see others coming on tourism. The day they can no longer get free oil money for doing absolutely nothing they will start to think then.I personally believe federal allocation should be based on certain criterias.Like state must operate 10,000acre farms, have certain number of industries,a level of good road network, pay salary etc to be entitle to federal allocation.Any state that fails to meet the requirement, federal government should use the allocation meant for the state to do those things in that state directly. This nigerian leaders are funny people, you will be surprised the level of development that would start to happen as soon as allocation is tied to something. The lack of expectations, mandate stops them from thinking. Why would anyone go to work when you get free money, called federal allocation every month?😅Thank you.
