Damn , that actually came in that way , I know it did but damn it's like they clock calipers for looks and don't even understand the whole point of doing it right SMH , crazy 🤦♂️
I tired of the followers and those who don’t try to learn anything about this culture! These classics are a culture..I love your setups wish you had one for a c10
i usually take caliper bracket bolts off, then use my impact on the caliper bolts. easier IMO. if its not rusty, and easier to do brake rotor inspection and axle seal
I have had to modify brackets a few times to clock the caliper on g bodies when we narrow the rear end a lot. There are a few g bodies that roll around here on big wheels, that don't have rear brakes at all. Lol😂
💯💯 I believe it, I started clocking the ends of the housing years ago as well , I was the 1st to do it in the Chicago land area . I had did a silver aero coupe mc ss and c-notched the frame for it, then I was like why the fuck didn’t I just rotate the end when I narrowed it, and I had asked a few ppl and they told me no that would be dumb…… so I was like fuck it and started doing it.. 💯💯
@BETITUPKUSTOMS Most people think everything about this particular style and culture of car(s) is dumb, fucc the haters. Im one state over in Kansas city missouri, our shop does old schools , low riders, box chevys, donks...whatever really.
Watch the full video and maybe you can understand what I do and how long I’ve been doing this. 1 thing worse then having to deal with and go over peoples work is having to deal with people that bump their gums when they don’t know half of what’s going or try to even find out anything 1st.. 💥
Those brakes would never bleed correctly either.. its scary to see some people working on cars...
Trans jack
I see that too, but I stopped the video and those calipers has two bleeders.
So dumb... just set it back on the floor.. let that suspension move up..
Lower the car weight back down on the suspension?

Bleeders at the bottom says them brakes still have air in them!
Good thing they have 2 bleeders , the one towards to front is higher….
Can someone tell him to turn the stearing wheel to get some clearance 🤷🏻♂️
This is the rear of the car smart guy
We found the builder.
Most car don’t even need disc in the rear ! The disc drum setup works and the clearance issue can be addressed in other ways..
@@RickRudolph-z4k it was set up completely wrong from the start….. everything..💯💯
@@BETITUPKUSTOMS I see that a lot and I love they have you bro to correct it and show others the correct way to do it

@@mrdaryldav 💯 not all but there’s a lot…
Preassembled before axle install or coil overs where attached 😳 that's OEM engineering 😂
💯💯💯🤣💥
What it needs is some cool rims
Everybody's a "car builder"...
What a joke
There were like yeah we can do it, then they were like hoe tf do we do this and they couldn’t even weld so they practiced on it…… 🤦♂️
Looks like they copied a page from Nissan's playbook
That’s why it’s at your shop now big kid show them how to do it right the first time
Yes sirr…. 💯💯💯💥
Oooh!!😮
Just swing it by leaving one bolt in 3 quarters of the way .😂
Right lol, a 5min job that turned into 35 minutes..🤷♂️🤦♂️
@BETITUPKUSTOMS master mechanics oddly quiet
