    Your syngonium albo is ridiculously gorgeous!! My dream plant! I bought a regular $5 syngonium to start out with to make sure I can care for it first :)

    FYI, the Monstera Thai Constellation is stable. The variegation is in its DNA so it cannot "revert".

    • @BotanicalBrunette
      @BotanicalBrunette  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh thanks for that, my bad. I know monstera albos have been talked about reverting. I thought it was the same for Thais as well. 🤍🌿

    Just a question, do you think your Syngonium Albo is reverting?
    I just watched a Kaylee Ellen video on reverting plants and age mentions this one being prone to doing that.
    It is beautiful no matter what. 💚

      @BotanicalBrunette  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh Really? I’ve heard these are pretty stable, I haven’t heard of many saying it reverted. Mine is pushing out new variegated leaves often. I keep it in such a bright spot that I think helps keep it white. Thank you!! 🤍🌿

    Hi! Such a beautiful plant! I was so blessed to be gifted one! I was SO excited, I just purchased my first moss pole - 6 ft!?!?!?! moss poll....because I just heard the briefest note from Planterina that they would not cling to a moss poll unless you put the pole in while they are young...SO??? I bought a 6 foot moss pole for my gift to grow on, and now, I'm wondering...how to stabize the pole, how to introduce it to my syngonium albo, and wondering....did I do the right thing? It's so beautiful and the plant is only about 18inches tall now and has 10 leaves - is it young enough to put a pole in? how do I do it? Any tips on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

      Hello, so I haven’t seen that video of have heard of that. But I can tell you mine has never clung to a pole. You can always just use the pole as a stabilizer and secure it to the pole with twist ties or floral wire. That’s what I did to one of my plants and it seems to work fine. It is a bummer it’s not utilizing the benefits of the moss but it works to keep it upright.

    This information is great bit, what I really need to know is---- which tool did you use to style your hair like this?! 😍😍 Please give me a quick walk-through on your process? 🙏

    Yours is so beautiful! I just bought one for $70!!! it's got only 8 leaves and a few about to open. I fell in love with it on a FB sale post, I paid without doing my homework first 🙃 lesson learned. The seller had it in Leka and told me I shouldn't re pot in soil. I have no experience with Leka so I think I'm going to re pot it anyway lol.

      Yay! Congrats!! That’s not a terrible price. They grow super fast, as well. Yeah I experimented with leca and my Syngonium and for the most part they liked it, I just wasn’t up for the upkeep. Good luck with you new plant!! 🌿🤍

    I hope you don't mind this correction, but this type of variegation is chimeric, just like albo monstera and it is NOT stable and can revert at any time, unfortunately. Thai Constellation is not a chimeric variegation and is stable, it will always carry on throughout the plant on every leaf. Unfortunately, it cannot be manipulated through conditions or environmental factors, it's just entirely up to the genetics of the plant itself. Higher light will definitely help to keep it growing faster and keep the white tissue healthy though

    Most of the new leaves on my Syngonium albo are cream colored or yellow instead of white . What could be causing this ? It’s under full spectrum grow lights and is in leca .

    • @BotanicalBrunette
      @BotanicalBrunette  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ashley! So mine is living in a Sourh east window, which gives it a lot of bright light pretty much all day. Higher light helps with variegation. I also have mine in soil. I’ve tried leca before with it and noticed creamer leaves, but I don’t know if that’s a side effect of leca.
      Even with all that I do get yellower leaves every once in awhile

    • @hollypuckett3931
      @hollypuckett3931 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These leaves are normal and it's just the nature of the variegation. I'm sure by now you've noticed that those leaves will age and harden down to white in time 😊👍
