  • Guys - It's been 9 MONTHS since I've done a houseplant tour! I owe you all a look inside my home and show you all the plants I have in my plant room and plant shelfie.
    This will be a two part plant tour since I have 100+ plants in my house. You'll see how I style them and where each one lives. You'll also get to see a little bit of my consolidations to start minimizing my collection, which is my goal for 2023.
    If you've seen my other tours you'll notice EVERYTHING has changed. My home decor is changing, I've lost and gained some plants along the way, I mean - a lot can change in 9 months.
    Here's PART 2:

    I just love your tours and house! So bright and airy! May I ask if you could do a care guide on your tetrasperma? Its the nicest I've seen!

    I loved this, part one and can’t wait for part two and three (hope hope hope). Your voice is real soothing to listen to. But all your white rooms and the white pots, white curtains shows off the green plants. The lights and the gold accents really make it glow up. Plus your window hangers and the plant charms and your animals too. Love it all. I hope you don’t mind if I emulate you?

    I love your collection! And how you styled your plants. I have a little over 100 plants in my collection. I found it interesting that we only have the following plants in common: Jade, several varieties of Pothos, Cebu Blue, Moth orchids, Air plants, the Samuari snake plant (I have eight different varieties of snake plants), and the P. Micans. I have not seen part 2 yet. I am curious to see what plants we have in common in that video.

    You have inspired me to grow my monstera standleyana trailing vs climbing. Yours looked to full, lush and beautiful . I have one propagating. I cut my mother plant because it started producing smaller leafs. I might try a few cuttings to climb and the rest to trail.
    Hoya polynuera grows like a weed. I love it! Lol

    • @BotanicalBrunette
      @BotanicalBrunette  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes!! 👏👏 I feel like it will look so pretty trailing. Just make sure you give it something to attach to (like my shelf pole) or they’ll start putting out small leaves again.

    Thanksgiving/Christmas cactus need dark areas, like a closet with doors Moses for at least 2 month I believe. That should help them bloom. They won’t do it sitting on the shelf like you’ve got it.

      Thank you so much! I wish I could say it will be there in no time for you, but mine seems to grow slowly since I moved it from my window. But I had it next to my SE window and it outgrew that spot FAST.

      I’m pretty surprised it’s fine, although I live in Florida so it’s normally 40-60% humidity in my home. Idk if that’s normal or not haha 🌿😊🤍

    Hello, the plant u were considering getting rid of( Peperomia Paraelle) I was literally looking at mines the other day telling it I have become to luv u. I wasn't sure at 1st because of the growth pattern .I wasn't familiar but the cardboard texture, low maintenance & its a attractive plant. Mines grow fast & will accept morn. sun. Like u said it hangs on top of growing tall.Believe me mines is larger then urs at the moment & u will fall in luv when it fills out. Thank U

    Hello. Your plants are beautiful. You talked about a nutrient deficiency my horsehead philodendron is about two feet talk was putting out beautiful leaves full-size. Then the last three or four looks like a deformed my little pony 😆 🤣 😂. It has also slowed way down. What did you notice that let you know deficiency. Thanks

    • @BotanicalBrunette
      @BotanicalBrunette  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! My Rhaphi was developing yellow spotting on the leaves. I thought it was pests, but i never saw any - plus when I googled it, it was a textbook case of a nutrient deficiency.
      I can't say for sure about your philodendron, but my philos get weird in the winter. With the heat running and humidity lower they don't often unfurl right, which leads to a weird leaf shape. It could also be thirsty too - or got just a little too dry at one point. The smaller growth *could* be from a nutrient deficiency, but it could just be from the lower light it's getting in the winter time.
      The wintertime can be harder for our plants but luckily it's almost over!
      Hope that helps :]
