City Mills Hotel will open its doors Sept. 14, 2021. The renovated mill brings together modern touches with original features like wood beams and floors, Pezold Companies Director of Marketing and Public Relations Cassie Myers said.

Pretty neat. I worked for a local electrical company when I got to go in and start a temporary power project. This place was gutted, but still had the safe, line shaft, the grinding stones, and generator turbine all in place. Traces of the old “knob and tube” wiring were everywhere. It was very cool to see all that before it was ripped apart. Glad this building gets to live for many years. I used to walk in the building from the loading dock where there were hundreds of pigeons living inside.

Wow that is absolutely stunning I rememberWhen they was basically was cleaning it out getting the lead in them all out of there ain’t no clearing out a lot of critters but that was over 10 years ago it’s good to see that they open it up and I’ll put in a good use and that the plan for the Chattahoochee is, lol it’s all good to see him I’m looking forward to be there to help them and some of them pursuits I can’t wait to get there you know this is what progress has preserved
