This is just BS. The Russo Brothers created the best movies in the MCU, but they don't know shit about Hulk. The Hulk is super underpowered and doesn't correctly capture the true Hulk. This is disappointing, as Hulk and Wolverine are my two favorite heroes.

They really just did him dirty due to the rights issue with hulk. I'm sure they knew or had some idea how good his healing factor was/is. So they haven't really used him anywhere near his potential.

A cooler way to make it seem like he was still sacrificing something would be to make him lose a portion of his sanity. Like no physical damage, but a power boost from all the gamma and a loss of control.
His arms needs to heal. The Hulk's massive regenerative ability is a huge part of his character, in the same way it is for Wolverine. Having the Hulk perpetually incapacitated completely mutes the point of his character as an unstoppable force of nature, or as "the strongest one there is". I like the theory that Professor Hulk was nullifying the Hulk's true powers, hence why he was overall weaker in many aspects in Endgame (this also aligns with the comics). But that when the Savage persona resurfaces, the arm wondrously heals and we have our Big Green Goliath back in action.
What gives you the impression that Hulk is weaker in Endgame than in previous movies? He isn't presented with any challenges in Endgame that would allow a comparison between his strength therein to his strength in prior movies; hence, it's not necessarily accurate to say that he's weaker. We don't know whether regular Hulk would be able to withstand the power of the Infinity Stones any better than Smart Hulk or not. We don’t know whether regular Hulk would be able to hold up the entire Avengers' compound with one arm after being injured by the Stones or not. We don’t know whether regular Hulk would be able to withstand the strike from The Ancient One or not.

Didn’t want no rematch with thanos, no fight scenes, couldn’t heal, and could barley hold that building up ...if it was savage hulk he would took the stones better and not like a bitch and he would of threw that building off with one arm instead of struggling with it ....savage hulk would of and should of wanted that fight with thanos again ...we just hated that version of hulk and want our raged monster back and to prove he’s the strongest there is
This isn't Professor, this is Green Banner. The Professor was an actual merger of Hulk and Banner to make a third personality. He wasn't as much of a dick as Banner and he was strong as hell, though still the weakest of the Hulk incarnations.

I agree, or perhaps nothing has angered him to the extent for his gamma powered healing factor to kick in like it should. Professor Hulk is hugely underpowered anyway in the MCU.

I mean the thing is, in the Shang-Chi post-credits, while his arm is in a sling, the arm itself (from what could be seen) looked mostly fine, so it is still likely healing, it's just taking a lot longer. The Russos need to read Hulk comics. The Hulks strength and healing factor is what makes the Hulk so powerful. How can he tangle with Wolverine without a healing factor. They were bragging in a recent interview that they have never read a Hulk comic. They are Thing stans from childhood, which explains a lot about their nerfing and mistreatment of Banner and Hulk in their films.
Hulk was nerfed for the MCU. He got pieced up by Thanos without the stones and can't heal when he has a healing factor so strong it makes him seem bullet proof. Comic hulk healed near instantly after having his skin and muscle flayed leaving him a grotesque skeleton. However, Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets. Maybe Banner Hulk made him weak because he isn't angry anymore.

His strength based on the comics come from a cosmic entity. Hulk is not mortal. If they wanted to make it seem like a sacrifice they could have the gauntlet completely destroy Hulk body and have banner buried then brought back in a post credit screen where the Hulk hand pulls him out of his grave.
I heard that it is healing just not as fast as if he was burned. Since both the stones and Hulk produce Gamma radiation it would make sense that he isn't healing as fast but is still healing.
Actually, it SHOULD be the opposite. The Hulk is gamma powered... he thrives off of gamma radiation, the more he absorbs, the stronger he gets. This is what comic fans of the Hulk are confused about. It makes no sense... he should have been immune to the effects of the Snap's gamma radiation... in fact, it should have turned him into even more of a rampaging monster. You could write it off as chronal and reality warping energies have drastically slowed the healing... but Hulk's healing factor is ridiculous when exposed to gamma, it's pretty much instantaneous. It doesn't make sense that it's permanent... it makes a lot more sense that it's psychological. That he doesn't want to heal because of Natasha not being saved.

As long as banner remains in control he should have to carry the burden of the injury. When Hulk finally emerges or he truly comes to terms with accepting the hulk as a part of him instead of something he needs to control, then he should be allowed to heal.
That's not how it works at all. Can't just flip flop on his character and makeup all willy-nilly for a storyline to carry more weight. Let's be honest: They had to find a way to get rid of the Hulk. So they just nerfed him away. He was far to "problematic" to be allowed to be who he really is. When all the world (I can't remember if it was the world or the universe) has come and gone, the only one left is Hulk that's how powerful his healing is. But if the writers can't use him like that. What can they do with him? Write in a permanent injury to make him go away. And then make way for She-Hulk and perhaps Amadeus Cho and the surfer dude Brah Hulk. I get it. So I ain't mad about it no more. It's the same as when the villain ends up dead in every super hero movie. They can't keep them alive to return for another movie later down the line unless it's part of a trilogy type plot. In the end they all die. (Actors that portray get older and the audience will turn on the replacement because they aren't like the OG version). So BuhBye Hulk. Nice knowing ya.
hulk is the one character in the MCU i thought was always done dirty. hes so damn misused ALL the time, especially in infinity war and endgame. The fact we only saw him fist fight thanos once and it went the way it did is just sad. no retribution in endgame or anything. in fact, i cant recall him doing shit during the endgame final battle. hes massively powerful and just always sidelined or very misused :/
they had to nerf him, otherwise they would have had to explain why yet another character couldn't kill Thanos that should have been able to do so, and they already had at least 4 of those in Wanda, marvel, thor, and strange, and only 2 of them got even a half decent explanation (cap marvel got punched with the power stone, and thor was supposedly weaker)

The Hulk is supposed to get stronger the angrier he gets. There is no stated upper limits of his strength and durability. Him being permanently damaged is not the Hulk at all.
Technically the hulk can regenerate his whole body, in a comic he regenerates his whole body from the skeleton and not only that, many times to come back to life from death it's like creating a new body (it's not easy to explain) if cut the arm can regenerate it and I don't know why they show a permanent injury on the hulk because literally nothing can do this on the hulk, the hulk is not like a human or a mortal character, he has the most powerful healing factor in the marvel universe and okay that is so in the comics but diminishing the potential of the character in this way is ridiculous and annoying, already we will never be able to see another movie about the hulk in the mcu then they make him a comic shoulder turning him into a flat character (when in reality the hulk is one of the best characters ever conceived in the history of comics, in fact I warmly invite anyone to recover the oldest narrative arcs of peter david on the hulk and the most recent ones of al ewing with immortal hulk because they are giants of marvel) and not only that, they also make him weak ... In the comics it is repeated several times that if the hulk were not held in check by banners it would be the end of everything and for this reason anyone in the comics at least a little fears him, (this is because the more the hulk gets angry, the more he enhances all his abilities and without any limits and the "savage hulk" is a concentrate of anger that cannot be consumed as it is literally anger made in flesh and blood, if anything it can only be powered or managed by banner) the MCU hulk is ridiculous, it can't even heal from such "ridiculous" damage (for a mortal being it's not but for a character like the hulk it shouldn't be anything serious)

I'm guessing he will try to heal himself with more/new serum and some gamma treatment, which will go wrong and he becomes more hulky. Maestro or whatever.
A healing factor is a healing factor, no damage should be permanent, unless they want to give Hulk PTSD, which would probably make him angry easier making him even more unstoppable
5:50 Scarlet Witch, Franklin Richards, The Phoenix Force, The One Above All, etc. Doctor Strange is pretty powerful himself as well and has mentioned that he now has the power to heal his hands but chooses not to. There are many extremely powerful figures in the MCU who could pull off such a thing. They're figure something out, they're good at randomly making new rules.
Then Sony have to make a new Hulk movie then, And Sony should make their movie Hulk a overpowering beast that he should to give the big middle finger 🖕🏿 to the weak ass MCU Hulk & to Marvel studios, My favourite movie Hulk so far is the 2003 Hulk & that’s a pretty great Hulk compared to the MCU Hulk.

Hulk's healing factor doesn't just "rival" Wolverine's or Deadpool's. It is far stronger. Hulk's healing factor is the most powerful in the Marvel Universe by a long margin.
Professor hulk will be pushed to a breaking point. Banner will feel the Hulk personality start to fluster, the hurt arm 'glows' and regrows to full again. Banner "hulk no!...*pained groans* Hulk....hulk...no...HUUULLK" *VOICE TRANSITIONS BETWEEN BANNER AND HULKS VOICE* *BEFORE FINALLY BECOMING A CLEAR HULK GROWL* "HULK....SMAAAASH" edit: or something we haven't heard and my personal favorite "Hulk is strongest there is!!"
Well one of Hulk's strongest powers is that he can't be influenced or possessed by magic and they ignored that one. So ignoring his healing factor is right in line with them ruining his character.
My theory is that for the same reason Hulk gets stronger as his rage increases this suggests that the rage affects his physics workings. Since Hulk has become passive in the merging of Banner and the Hulk there is no rage to kick into overdrive his healing factor to be back up there like wolverines or deadpools.
Its all because of the rights issue, they were trying to trash the character so people wouldn't really like him and they would be able to save themselves money. Logical business choice, but very sad for TRUE fans of the comics to see the character devolve so much. 😔
I think it may be a combination of this but also the MCU wanted to put more female characters front in center. They had to get the screen time from someone else’s character 🤷🏾♂️
Honestly I would like it to be a bit of damage that slowly heals over time as the next hulk movie progresses. And with as the movie progresses, Hulk finds his confidence again to become the savage hulk again, but that's me.
It needs to heal, i cannot just see him being weak anymore, his participation at the end of endgame was just nothing but if he turned savage and regenerated his arm, im pretty sure we would have seen a different future
I want them to heal his arm nobody wants to see the super strong indestructible hulk injured plus it always bothered my how the thing was emitting gamma radiation but he was still hurt you would think he would have either got supercharged or he would have healed quicker.
I just thought about something hear me out it would have been better to have Thor do the snap. The reason is because one he could've survived it and two it would of been way better for him because one he loses his arm in the comics currently and has a arm made out of uru metal so it would have slightly more comic accurate compare to the hulk having a mess up arm doesn't sit well with alot of people plus it would have been a great way for Thor to redeem himself my opinion tho
The problem with Thor doing the snap, is, that Thor was mentally unstable. It was his fault, that people had to live on for 5 years with half of the living universe wiped out. All because he didn't go for the head. So while his body most likely would've survived the snap no one knows if his mind would've, too.

I could see if the physical damage to the right arm persisted due to continued emotional or psychological damage brought on by hulk's/Banner's inability to snap back Natasha. As if he can't let go (with his right arm) of losing her. It could be that he will make a full recovery once he learns to let go of the pain of losing Natasha & embrace the the value she brought into his life & accepting her sacrifice.

I hope the arm heals I don't like it being permanent it takes away what the hulk is it would be fine if the arm heals but it's still scard then the hulk is still strong but just has scars as a reminder not to give up
When I think of the snap I think of the Hellraiser film. Getting all of the stones solves the puzzle box and during the 'Snap' the person doing it does not have just a blink of an eye to decide but a long torture to prove to the stones that they really want what they ask. In the end the stones take a pound of flesh as the price. Maybe that is why Bruce said he tried to bring back Natisha but couldn't as the price for that would have been to high by letting some or all of the dusted not return.
honestly, the hulk having a permanent injury is kinda bunk he has gone through things in comics that left him as little more than a stripped skeleton and grew back from it

I think it would fit character if savage hulk comes out for a fight, Gets mad at the arm or the fight or both. Gets angrier and angrier making him strong and stronger until in the critical moment (like every comic book character) He gets so angry it heals, or even better but less pg13 (so maybe in a deadpool movie cameo) He rips it off beats the other guy to death looks over at his missing arm and screams at it till it grows back.
i think that its like turning off your pc and restarting it to fix the issue. Maybe banner turned himself back to original form to heal his arm with some modern medical technology and turn back to hulk again to completely fix it or completely regenerate it.

For anyone who didn’t notice hulk WAS present during the diner scene. Its when banner was talking about how for years he has been treating the hulk as a disease, something to get rid-of, you listen closely you can hear hulk. Its before banner turns his head (like he does in a good chunk of the scenes that he’s in) to the side.
Still my biggest gripe with the last two avengers is how they did Hulk dirty. It’s frustrating even thinking about it. Surely they knew what the fans wanted and the fans wanted to see Hulk be Hulk. We wanted Hulk vs Obsidian. Hulk vs Thanos 2. Hulk demolishing Thanos’s army. So annoying! Whatever it is they thought they were doing they messed it up this time.
The interviews you're quoting are OLD NEWS from after Endgame. The Russos and Markus & McFeely treated the Hulk like shit. They no longer have any say over the characters. We had no promised story arc to replace a solo film on screen. Marvel failed the characters, Ruffalo, and the fans. In Shang-Chi, Banner looked like the arm was at least 90% recovered. The sling was the only indicator something had happened. If the next writer wants it completely healed, it will be. He's not "The Winter Hulk." We don't need that. What we do need is for Marvel to buy the distribution rights back from Universal and hire a creative team that really gives a damn about the characters.

I think it would be more interesting if he had to live with the injury, having it heal takes away from the impact of the snap. When it’s permanently damaged you can visually see all he sacrificed to bring everyone back.

In the original Secret Wars, Hulk (who had the mind of Banner then as well) was injured by Ultron and wore a cast on his leg. Over time, Banner grew gradually more enraged from the pain. Nightmare (who is rumored to be in the next Dr. Strange movie) seized on this and through tormenting Banner in his dreams, led the Savage Hulk to return, for use as a weapon against Strange. But Banner subconsciously couldn't handle the trauma and mentally committed suicide, allowing a new, Mindless Hulk to emerge. Mindless Hulk was his strongest and deadliest form at that time, and attempted to kill anything and everything in his way. Maybe that's where they're going with this. See Incredible Hulk #300 for more details.
In the comics Hulk healed his whole body when Vector blew off all his skin and muscle and they are saying this little injury is permanent. Just shows you the MCU is complete garbage. They want to over power "certain " characters (Captain Marvel), and destroy the real power houses like the Hulk .
Hulk heals from anything- read Immortal Hulk comics to see this. The directors should probably stop saying things, especially when it contradicts the comics and *especially* when they contradict the writers from the same movie.
If they decide to bring bacc Hulks n Banners right arm instead of thinking of something convoluted it should be made that once Hulf n Banners mind separate the Hulk goes into a rage at the sight of his arm n rips it off to fully regenerate properly

His arms needs to heal. The Hulk's massive regenerative ability is a huge part of his character, in the same way it is for Wolverine. Having the Hulk perpetually incapacitated completely mutes the point of his character as an unstoppable force of nature, or as "the strongest one there is". I like the theory that Professor Hulk was nullifying the Hulk's true powers, hence why he was overall weaker in many aspects in Endgame (this also aligns with the comics). But that when the Savage persona resurfaces, the arm wondrously heals and we have our Big Green Goliath back in action.
What gives you the impression that Hulk is weaker in Endgame than in previous movies? He isn't presented with any challenges in Endgame that would allow a comparison between his strength therein to his strength in prior movies; hence, it's not necessarily accurate to say that he's weaker.
We don't know whether regular Hulk would be able to withstand the power of the Infinity Stones any better than Smart Hulk or not. We don’t know whether regular Hulk would be able to hold up the entire Avengers' compound with one arm after being injured by the Stones or not. We don’t know whether regular Hulk would be able to withstand the strike from The Ancient One or not.

I mean the thing is, in the Shang-Chi post-credits, while his arm is in a sling, the arm itself (from what could be seen) looked mostly fine, so it is still likely healing, it's just taking a lot longer. Hopefully, he'll be back to his former glory soon.

They were bragging in a recent interview that they have never read a Hulk comic. They are Thing stans from childhood, which explains a lot about their nerfing and mistreatment of Banner and Hulk in their films.
Hulk was nerfed for the MCU. He got pieced up by Thanos without the stones and can't heal when he has a healing factor so strong it makes him seem bullet proof. Comic hulk healed near instantly after having his skin and muscle flayed leaving him a grotesque skeleton.
However, Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets. Maybe Banner Hulk made him weak because he isn't angry anymore.

I heard that it is healing just not as fast as if he was burned. Since both the stones and Hulk produce Gamma radiation it would make sense that he isn't healing as fast but is still healing.
Actually, it SHOULD be the opposite. The Hulk is gamma powered... he thrives off of gamma radiation, the more he absorbs, the stronger he gets. This is what comic fans of the Hulk are confused about. It makes no sense... he should have been immune to the effects of the Snap's gamma radiation... in fact, it should have turned him into even more of a rampaging monster.
You could write it off as chronal and reality warping energies have drastically slowed the healing... but Hulk's healing factor is ridiculous when exposed to gamma, it's pretty much instantaneous. It doesn't make sense that it's permanent... it makes a lot more sense that it's psychological. That he doesn't want to heal because of Natasha not being saved.

As long as banner remains in control he should have to carry the burden of the injury. When Hulk finally emerges or he truly comes to terms with accepting the hulk as a part of him instead of something he needs to control, then he should be allowed to heal.
That's not how it works at all. Can't just flip flop on his character and makeup all willy-nilly for a storyline to carry more weight. Let's be honest: They had to find a way to get rid of the Hulk. So they just nerfed him away. He was far to "problematic" to be allowed to be who he really is. When all the world (I can't remember if it was the world or the universe) has come and gone, the only one left is Hulk that's how powerful his healing is. But if the writers can't use him like that. What can they do with him? Write in a permanent injury to make him go away. And then make way for She-Hulk and perhaps Amadeus Cho and the surfer dude Brah Hulk.

hulk is the one character in the MCU i thought was always done dirty. hes so damn misused ALL the time, especially in infinity war and endgame. The fact we only saw him fist fight thanos once and it went the way it did is just sad. no retribution in endgame or anything. in fact, i cant recall him doing shit during the endgame final battle. hes massively powerful and just always sidelined or very misused :/
they had to nerf him, otherwise they would have had to explain why yet another character couldn't kill Thanos that should have been able to do so, and they already had at least 4 of those in Wanda, marvel, thor, and strange, and only 2 of them got even a half decent explanation (cap marvel got punched with the power stone, and thor was supposedly weaker)

Technically the hulk can regenerate his whole body, in a comic he regenerates his whole body from the skeleton and not only that, many times to come back to life from death it's like creating a new body (it's not easy to explain) if cut the arm can regenerate it and I don't know why they show a permanent injury on the hulk because literally nothing can do this on the hulk, the hulk is not like a human or a mortal character, he has the most powerful healing factor in the marvel universe and okay that is so in the comics but diminishing the potential of the character in this way is ridiculous and annoying, already we will never be able to see another movie about the hulk in the mcu then they make him a comic shoulder turning him into a flat character (when in reality the hulk is one of the best characters ever conceived in the history of comics, in fact I warmly invite anyone to recover the oldest narrative arcs of peter david on the hulk and the most recent ones of al ewing with immortal hulk because they are giants of marvel) and not only that, they also make him weak ... In the comics it is repeated several times that if the hulk were not held in check by banners it would be the end of everything and for this reason anyone in the comics at least a little fears him, (this is because the more the hulk gets angry, the more he enhances all his abilities and without any limits and the "savage hulk" is a concentrate of anger that cannot be consumed as it is literally anger made in flesh and blood, if anything it can only be powered or managed by banner) the MCU hulk is ridiculous, it can't even heal from such "ridiculous" damage (for a mortal being it's not but for a character like the hulk it shouldn't be anything serious)

Well one of Hulk's strongest powers is that he can't be influenced or possessed by magic and they ignored that one. So ignoring his healing factor is right in line with them ruining his character.

My theory is that for the same reason Hulk gets stronger as his rage increases this suggests that the rage affects his physics workings. Since Hulk has become passive in the merging of Banner and the Hulk there is no rage to kick into overdrive his healing factor to be back up there like wolverines or deadpools.
Its all because of the rights issue, they were trying to trash the character so people wouldn't really like him and they would be able to save themselves money. Logical business choice, but very sad for TRUE fans of the comics to see the character devolve so much. 😔

Honestly I would like it to be a bit of damage that slowly heals over time as the next hulk movie progresses. And with as the movie progresses, Hulk finds his confidence again to become the savage hulk again, but that's me.

It needs to heal, i cannot just see him being weak anymore, his participation at the end of endgame was just nothing but if he turned savage and regenerated his arm, im pretty sure we would have seen a different future
I want them to heal his arm nobody wants to see the super strong indestructible hulk injured plus it always bothered my how the thing was emitting gamma radiation but he was still hurt you would think he would have either got supercharged or he would have healed quicker.
I want him to be trying to fight and then get so mad that the angry hulk comes out and his arm also hulks out, therefore healing it
I just thought about something hear me out it would have been better to have Thor do the snap. The reason is because one he could've survived it and two it would of been way better for him because one he loses his arm in the comics currently and has a arm made out of uru metal so it would have slightly more comic accurate compare to the hulk having a mess up arm doesn't sit well with alot of people plus it would have been a great way for Thor to redeem himself my opinion tho

The problem with Thor doing the snap, is, that Thor was mentally unstable. It was his fault, that people had to live on for 5 years with half of the living universe wiped out. All because he didn't go for the head.
So while his body most likely would've survived the snap no one knows if his mind would've, too.

@Itachi , not just the healing factor. Hulk gets his powers from gamma radiation the more gamma radiation the stronger he gets so they wanna tell us that he got damaged by the thing that gives him his powers lol.
I could see if the physical damage to the right arm persisted due to continued emotional or psychological damage brought on by hulk's/Banner's inability to snap back Natasha. As if he can't let go (with his right arm) of losing her. It could be that he will make a full recovery once he learns to let go of the pain of losing Natasha & embrace the the value she brought into his life & accepting her sacrifice.

I hope the arm heals I don't like it being permanent it takes away what the hulk is it would be fine if the arm heals but it's still scard then the hulk is still strong but just has scars as a reminder not to give up
When I think of the snap I think of the Hellraiser film. Getting all of the stones solves the puzzle box and during the 'Snap' the person doing it does not have just a blink of an eye to decide but a long torture to prove to the stones that they really want what they ask. In the end the stones take a pound of flesh as the price. Maybe that is why Bruce said he tried to bring back Natisha but couldn't as the price for that would have been to high by letting some or all of the dusted not return.

I think it would fit character if savage hulk comes out for a fight, Gets mad at the arm or the fight or both. Gets angrier and angrier making him strong and stronger until in the critical moment (like every comic book character) He gets so angry it heals, or even better but less pg13 (so maybe in a deadpool movie cameo) He rips it off beats the other guy to death looks over at his missing arm and screams at it till it grows back.
i think that its like turning off your pc and restarting it to fix the issue. Maybe banner turned himself back to original form to heal his arm with some modern medical technology and turn back to hulk again to completely fix it or completely regenerate it.

Still my biggest gripe with the last two avengers is how they did Hulk dirty. It’s frustrating even thinking about it. Surely they knew what the fans wanted and the fans wanted to see Hulk be Hulk. We wanted Hulk vs Obsidian. Hulk vs Thanos 2. Hulk demolishing Thanos’s army. So annoying! Whatever it is they thought they were doing they messed it up this time.
The interviews you're quoting are OLD NEWS from after Endgame. The Russos and Markus & McFeely treated the Hulk like shit. They no longer have any say over the characters. We had no promised story arc to replace a solo film on screen. Marvel failed the characters, Ruffalo, and the fans. In Shang-Chi, Banner looked like the arm was at least 90% recovered. The sling was the only indicator something had happened. If the next writer wants it completely healed, it will be. He's not "The Winter Hulk." We don't need that. What we do need is for Marvel to buy the distribution rights back from Universal and hire a creative team that really gives a damn about the characters.

I think it would be more interesting if he had to live with the injury, having it heal takes away from the impact of the snap. When it’s permanently damaged you can visually see all he sacrificed to bring everyone back.

Listening to the Russo’s reason and ideas for hulks arm just enrages me as a hulk fan. We shouldn’t let the guys who ruined the hulk the most dictate his future by having his arm permanently damaged and irreversible. Banner should just hulk out and that’s how he heals !
The good news is, it’s not up to them anymore so that very well could happen.
Irreversible only in their own imaginations, now it's up to the next creative team(s). It's not like any in universe character has come out and suggested that it can't heal, unless I'm forgetting something.

In the original Secret Wars, Hulk (who had the mind of Banner then as well) was injured by Ultron and wore a cast on his leg. Over time, Banner grew gradually more enraged from the pain. Nightmare (who is rumored to be in the next Dr. Strange movie) seized on this and through tormenting Banner in his dreams, led the Savage Hulk to return, for use as a weapon against Strange.
But Banner subconsciously couldn't handle the trauma and mentally committed suicide, allowing a new, Mindless Hulk to emerge. Mindless Hulk was his strongest and deadliest form at that time, and attempted to kill anything and everything in his way. Maybe that's where they're going with this. See Incredible Hulk #300 for more details.
In the comics Hulk healed his whole body when Vector blew off all his skin and muscle and they are saying this little injury is permanent. Just shows you the MCU is complete garbage. They want to over power "certain " characters (Captain Marvel), and destroy the real power houses like the Hulk .

The directors should probably stop saying things, especially when it contradicts the comics and *especially* when they contradict the writers from the same movie.
If they decide to bring bacc Hulks n Banners right arm instead of thinking of something convoluted it should be made that once Hulf n Banners mind separate the Hulk goes into a rage at the sight of his arm n rips it off to fully regenerate properly
Hulk's healing factor puts Wolverine and Deadpool's to shame. There were times where he was stripped to the bone and came back in a matter of hours.
What if while trying to fix his injury the Hulk ends up turning into World Breaker Hulk.
