Saurabh Sir gazab ka deep homework kr ke aate ho sir, Mtlb jo knowledge aur presentation hai na maza aa gaya.
Even at the height of Indira Gandhi's supremacy in Congress, there were 2 names which were considered to be potential PM material; Chandrasekhar, and HN Bahuguna. Chandrasekhar did manage to become PM for a short period, whereas he should have become PM instead of VP Singh. HNB sabotaged his own career by his hasty & ill considered decisions.

हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा मेरा परिचय 1984 में हुआ तब मैं काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय में इतिहास का अध्यापक था .उनके राजनीतिक चिंतन को बहुत नजदीक से जानने का अवसर मिला .1984 के राजनीति के एक बहुत बड़े सिद्धांत कार थे .उन्होंने क्षेत्रीय पार्टियों को मिलाकर इंदिरा गांधी को चुनौती देने का प्रयास किया. उन्होंने कहा था कि जो regional पार्टियां हैं वह भले ही क्षेत्रीय हैं परंतु उनका दृष्टिकोण राष्ट्रीय है .रीजनल पार्टीज विद नेशनल आउटलुक. हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय 1984 के बाद कई बार आए और यहां के अध्यापकों और विद्यार्थियों से बहुत अच्छे संबंध थे .उनका सबसे पहला भाषण काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय में 1984 में आयोजित करने का अवसर मिला .वे काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय के कृषि संकाय में लगातार 4 घंटे तक भाषण दिए तथा उन्होंने पूरे देश के कृषि नीति पर प्रकाश डाला. श्री हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा पूर्वांचल विकास के लिए बहुत अधिक संकल्प लिए हुए थे तथा पूर्वांचल विकास सम्मेलन के लिए उन्होंने प्रेरित किया जिसमें हम लोगों ने पूर्वांचल के तमाम महाविद्यालयों से अध्यापकों और छात्रों के बीच चल के विकास के लिए बातचीत प्रारंभ किया. प्रोफेसर रीता जोशी बहुगुणा बहुत अच्छे से किताब में व्यक्तित्व और कृतित्व के बारे में लिखा. बहुगुणा जी के व्यक्तित्व का वह पक्ष किताब में जरूर आया होगा कि बहुगुणा जी से मिलने जब भी कोई उनके दिल्ली के लोधी स्टेट में जाता था तो भोजन कराने के बाद जरूर पूछते थे कि पैसा है कि नहीं. और अगर किसी के चेहरे से भी भाव पैदा हो जाता था कि पैसा नहीं है तो जरूर पैसा भी देते थे. हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा एक सनातनी ब्राह्मण का व्यवहार रखते थे और जब भी काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय आते थे रात में वहां रुकते थे और सुबह 4:00 बजे श्री काशी विश्वनाथ का दर्शन जरूर करते थे .काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय के मालवीय भवन में एक बार हम लोगों ने श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता पर बहुगुणा जी का व्याख्यान कराया और उन्होंने श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता को पूंजीवाद के विरुद्ध भारतीय संस्कृति का महान ग्रंथ बताया और उन्होंने अपरिग्रह के गुणों पर प्रकाश डाला. हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा एक व्यक्तित्व थे जो अपने पार्टी के लोगों को प्रशिक्षित करने पर भी बहुत जोर देते थे 1984 के मई महीने में हरिद्वार में 1 महीने का कैंप लगवाएं जिसमें हमें व्याख्याता के रूप में invitation दिया .हम वहां 1 महीने रह कर दूधाधारी बाबा के आश्रम में ज्ञान चर्चा किए और अंतिम दिन हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा हरिद्वार आए और बहुत अच्छा समाज और राजनीति तथा देश के भविष्य पर व्याख्यान दिया .यदि इंदिरा गांधी की हत्या 1984 के 31 अक्टूबर को नहीं होती तो आने वाले चुनाव में नंदन बहुगुणा ने जो अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर क्षेत्रीय दलों को मिलाकर एक राष्ट्रीय गठबंधन बनाया था एनटी रामा राव और फारुख अब्दुल्ला शामिल थे, अवश्य विजई होता.
