@@rakshittripathi7240 No Sir, Tarak Mehta is not a Parsi. Parsees though have adopted many Gujarati and Maharashtrian last names, e.g. Mehta, Joshi, Rao etc. This is one way in which we as a community have assimilated in our beautiful country

An interesting discussion esp on 1971 war which I listened with nostalgic reminiscence.
It is understood R&AW's role was not only restricted to report on the misbehaviour of some army officers. It played a great and decisive role in 1971 war.

More I hear about this man, more I am intrigued and fascinated. Even after all these years, I am still in awe. I wonder what must be the feeling of those who have met, saw and witnessed him from close quarters.
Brigadier Behram seems to be true gentleman as well. How considerate, inclusive and respectful he is of his wife.
Will get this book ASAP.
It brought tears to my eyes, when Field Marshall SHFJ Manekshaw addressed his subedar's wife as 'Ma' - and it made me bristle with anger and shame at the way the Indian Govt treated him. Maybe we did not deserve a fine man like him. Thank you Lallantop for always bringing such gems on your show.

The new generation does not know about Sam Bahadur. Congress suppressed Sam’s contribution including when Field Marshal died, not a single Congress minister went to pay respect.
