@@ChrisThedudenursewhat was your fuel system issue? And did it fix it? My pump started whining bad and I can smell gas but there are no leaks anywhere. Figured I would try this.
@@Aaron-ok9pc haven’t done it yet, i tested the fuel pressure and it wasn’t great but wasn’t out of wack. I’m thinking it’s the filter restricting the pump but I’m changing the regulator anyways
So I changed a fuel filter. Then fuel pump. Ran great for a few days. Now its started the sputtering crap again. Like it’s bout to die pulling out or idling. I’m at a loss. Wonder if this could be the problem? One min it’s fine next no clue if I can make it home. I’m frustrated.
I just got a 94 s10 2.2l 186xxx extremely clean truck plan on keeping it for a long time and making it mine When I let it idle it wants to stutter and engine shakes a little. I am curious what the reasoning was for making you to change the fuel pressure regulator. If anyone has any advice on what it could be I’d greatly appreciate it.
If it's still running a little rich check your egr if you haven't.. I have a 95 sonoma with the 2.2 burning real rich so I need to get into mine as well.
Nice video, i just got bad gas and it killed my throttle body sensors. Shot my Rpms up to 3000 would not come down.. 65.00 replaced them all then new spark wires and sparkplug clean.. back idling got a firing miss occasionally.. might try this fuel regulator and coil packs.. parts are cheap on amazon..
I like seeing the new part and old part comparison. Good video!
Thank you
Same model as mine. Thanks for sharing. Mine has 254,440 at present. Love the little 2.2.
Mine has been a good one.
349,000 here
What were the symptoms of the bad one?
Honestly, I’d changed everything else fuel related out and was still having fueling issues.

@@DirtyNate98. Did it work?

@@DirtyNate98Did that fix it? I’m having the same issues but replaced a new pump n filter. Ran fine for few days then started sputtering again.

@@jojomafia3851 this could be your issue or you may have a vacuum leak
@@ChrisThedudenurse Thanks! 💯 I hadn’t even thought about a vacuum leak. 😁 fingers crossed 🤞
That looks like my 10mm socket, you get that from my house?
Finders keepers, you know farmers loose things all the time.

Not sure without seeing it. I’d start with simple stuff 1st. Plugs wires maybe even bad fuel.

They are cheap, but be careful with ignition parts from Amazon because they may not be any better.
That screw driver looks like the one that’s missing from work 😂
Are you a Gastonia Shade tree mechanic
It ain’t missing if I found it. Some director of security you are.
@@ChrisThedudenurse I was told it was missing before I started
