Got mine for 50.29 with tax a few days ago. Love it. Was tough to open at first. I didn't like the plastic clip on the sheath. My first full size multi tool and I love it.
Just got one for $48. Very excited. I’ve been carrying a surge but I want to try one of these cheaper ones. I hope I can put aftermarket surge tools on it.

Awesome tool. I thought youd like it. I def want it but im gonna wait cause i have a feeling the price will come down even more or maybe 50% off from 40%.
I like the Leatherman Surge but it weighs my jeans down and I always wear my old trusty, thick Carhartt leather belt. That's why I still prefer the Super Tool 300.
Snagged one today 11/30 during amazon cyber Monday for 53.99 plus a clip coupon for another 5.40 off so 48.59 I was thisclose to getting the Bibury before I saw this video😁
Do you know if I could buy a pocket clip for this thing? Would the standard detachable Leatherman clip work? I think I have finally found a tool to replace my ancient Charge TTI.
I have a Donk! brand pocket clip meant for the leatherman wingman and sidekick. Multiple designs and easy to install under the small screw on the handle. Beware though, adding a clip this way will tighten up the tools on that side of the handle making the tools harder to open. That being said it works great for my bibury surge clone and would definitely recommend as a more sturdy option than adhesives for these clone tools.
@billybunter3753 That would entail getting rid of the proprietary bit kit. Having the micro screwdriver as a bit forces you to give up carrying the normal size Phillips because the only Philips on the surge is in the bit holder
Hey H, You said a while back that you would be doing a review or reveal of the new Roxon You totally blade adapter for the phantom / s502/1u. Is that going to be soonish?
@@jamescox5638 I did a review of the new G10 version. Is that what you meant? Also I will be reviewing the K2SE special edition soon. Some new versions from Roxon sound like they are coming next year as well.
I'm wondering how much surge clones you might have with all those brands pulling out these variations of the tool. Although this version offers some nice tools. As for HVAC I tend to like the super large flats for the old models of pumps in heating pipe lines. Sometimes it helps also as light pry tool 😊
@hvacbudget8600 really kind of you to respond thank you! I've been following your videos trying to figure out which one I'm going to pull the trigger on come black friday. I think this is the one I'm going to go for but I am going to hold out and wait just in case I might get a few more dollars off.
I’ve seen you’re comments on peoples posts similar to this. You sound like one big hater of anyone who has an opinion different to yours and think your opinion is the superior one. I will quote another persons comment. Try and see things from a birds eye rather than just ur limited perspective. Here is another comment from someone else on this channel “was a dedicated Leatherman user for decades. I always chose the full sized models such as the Core and Supertool 300 because I always used belt pouches instead of pockets. I only learned of the Surge clones very recently. I have the Bibury, the Rocktol, and the Multper featured here. Because they all use a conventional hex bit holder instead of the proprietary flat bit holder of Leatherman I feel the clones are actually superior. Clearly better for price! The only downside of the clones I've experienced is that the T shank holder tends to snag on the belt pouch when pulled out. Currently I put a piece of tape over the protruding metal which seems to work. I fear Leatherman has become like Snap-on or Rayban; their brand name associated with value but a poor choice for value in light of much cheaper alternatives.“
Also you clearly aren’t someone who has used enough tools but I won’t be the one to judge or assume that. But I’ll give u a different perspective of leatherman. I’ve seen ur channel. U spoke of the downsides of the leatherman arc. There are downsides like that to ALL leathermans. Leatherman isn’t a very great quality tool. The surge is extremely stiff. It’s only the tool set of leatherman that appeals to ppl. Not the quality. The tool set of the clones are the same if not better. The quality is pretty much similar. Some clones are even better and smoother than leathermans. And the multper even has a damascus blade. Definitelt superior than the surges blade. Victorinox quality is by far the best. Only the magnacut blade on the arc and the S30V blade on the charge tti make the materials superior but other than that victorinox and even the surge clones are far superior than any leatherman out there. I only like the skeletool cx
Use any leatherman properly for a couple of years and the plier handles will come lose or break on you. That won’t happen on a victorinox multitool. So yea I would much rather go for a surge clone that’s actually happens to be the one superior clone that exists from the original. I bet you don’t even own one to pass such a comment. I have about 3 surge clones and none of them have failed on me like the multiple leathermans I’ve owned. I would trade a leatherman any day for the quarter inch bit on a clone over the flat bits u get on a leatherman. It’s a joke if you’re even trying to argue here for the sake of arguing without any experience with a multper surge clone
The 40% discount coupon is still active today (11/11/2024), I suppose in celebration of Trump's election. Great deal.
Thanks for heads up!
I REALLY REALLY want this! I don’t have an extra $50 around, but what a fantastic value!

For about $41 more than the Multper's current $54, you can get a Wave+ which are currently 20% off.
