- It is truly a bittersweet announcement today as we share the news that our Tenor brother and co-founder, Fraser Walters, will be stepping away from The Tenors. After 16 years of traveling the world as one of The Tenors, Fraser has made the extremely difficult decision to create a new path to allow more time, both for his growing family, and, for other creative endeavors that will keep him closer to home. Victor Micallef and Clifton Murray will continue on with The Tenors and are excited to make an announcement about the future of The Tenors in the coming weeks.

Oh dear Fraser, absolutely no need to apologize. You won't stop singing, we're not finished hearing from you. Take care of yourself and your young family for now and when you have the time, let us hear your beautiful voice soar again.
I never felt the same about you guys when you turned your backs on one of your own. I must say that Fraser's voice is going to be missed. You are one amazingly talented young man.

As for the Tenors, we fans will wait to hear what the next chapter will be. I'm grateful to hear there will be a next chapter in some form. Fraser, you are a gem. Love the Tenors since the first time I heard you. You each have such a profound heart, and soul, and humility and gifts. You are so missed, and while I feel the heartbreak at the closing of this chapter, your family will be ever grateful, and your music not lost on them or the world. I saw you in concert in Chicago when it was still the group of four. The best memory and mother's day gift ever. I live in Indiana. All of you are a joy and a delight to watch. You are there for your family and that it very important. You will be missed. God bless you all.

The tenors came to the world of music not only as the blending of 3 extraordinary voices but allowing their audience to see that each one of you has a million dollar disposition. I was on Facebook and a fan club member at a time when giving you the support you needed during a rough patch was like reaching out to family and wanting to show you my love. Your specials on pbs were superlative and Frasiers rendition of the garden of Gethsemane was the best one ever. I can't wait to see whats coming from all of you. Yours was the first concert after my brother's death in 2013 and the loss of hearing in 1 ear... I cried all the way through, but you, as a group, helped to bring healing to my broken spirit. So many of your songs touch my heart every day as I listen at work..yes I still tear up on many of the songs. I love your voices. However sad it will be not to see you, Frasier, in the group...you are following your heart and leading with your heart to be with your family. I'll continue to listen to this fine group. Very moving farewell. I am so glad I was able to see you guys at the MPAC theater in Morristown, NJ a year or so before covid bs hit. You guys put on a great show that night. True enough, your 16 year journey was at times challenging, but it was beautiful and a harmonious one indeed. It is with a heavy heart to see you 'disband' as the original ones of our well loved and well admired "The Tenors". It is heartbreaking to know as well that 'even great and beautiful things will come to an end, inevitably'. But we know it deep in our hearts that this is just a temporary Good-bye for now. Because we know we will all see you three scaling new heights and venturing on newfound passion in your art and music career. We shall miss you sorely and fans share your sadness and sorrows whatever they maybe. But as Helen Steiner Rice puts it, 'The end of the road, is just a bend in the road'. Fraser, never be sorry about your decision. Your music lives with us. Your family lives with you and that's how it should be. Enjoy your family and sing to them so we can have new Fraser singers in the future. There comes a time in everyone's life when family does matter and your children will be young only for a short time. Enjoy them to the fullest. Life is precious and we need to make the best of every day we have in front of us. The love in that brotherhood was incredibly evident in that very real human exchange. I have loved The Tenors from the moment I heard you 12 years ago. Your harmonies and blend of voices has always been out of this world heavenly. I will deeply miss this version of The Tenors. I’m just so glad I got to enjoy a live concert in Atlanta while Remi was with you. You all blessed my Mom so so so much the last year of her life. She listened and was blessed everyday almost all day believe it or not.
