I try to observe. I've never seen /heard anyone play like this stunning, unique genius Mr. Tyner. This guy's Stunning. - and this piece - bizarre. AmAzing. Nothing else Like it. NOthing. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I understand crossing genres in making comparison is prob. deemed inappropriate; but the former Pink Floyd or E.L.P. had absolutely nothing on these 2 gentlemen. Despite me being a fan 48 yrs. ago.
Crossing genres of music is fine :-) In one sense, this song is simpler: the basic progression is two or three chords, but there's a bunch of harmonic substitution and extension going on here that isn't present in Pink Floyd's music. Pink Floyd made way more money, and the guys here probably wouldn't have been happy playing that.

Those cymbals probably didn't make it too long - keyhole city!
