@@TheJmac82 Governor Abbott just today announced he is building a military base on the border and going to seize more of the border! Tell your governors to SEND TROOPS to HELP Texas! Call your governor's office! Kentucky has a democrat governor unfortunately but he is VULNERABLE and encourage him to be bipartisan and SEND TROOPS to help Texas! He might do it if enough call and respectfully ask him to do so. If we get a Democrat governor supporting us then we'll have "bipartisan" military support against Biden.
The US has 40,000 "combat arms" (fighting troops, not penpushers) that are stateside, while Texas has about 25,000 to 30,000 troops + 10,000 from other states, we still need more to ensure Biden doesn't get any funny ideas of attacking Texas. Granted of the 40,000 troops Biden still has stateside (most US troops are overseas surrounding Ukraine, the Mideast, and China right now so Biden doesn't have many he can threaten Texas with), of those 40,000 Biden has to keep 20,000 at key sites (i.e. the 8,000 in the DC barracks can't be sent for obvious reasons), so maybe at most Biden could send 20,000 federal troops and maybe 10,000 FBI and try to federalize the Texas National Guard (it would fail given it's General Seltzer is loyal to Gov. Abbott and was appointed by him), but still, the more troops other states send the better chance that Biden backs down and doesn't attack us or if he does that he will lose quickly.

I am also an immigrant. I moved here when I was 6 years old from Europe. My parents did it the right way, they went to the embassy and applied. They waited over 6 months and got the approval. We had to wait about another 6 months just so my dad could make enough money so we could afford the trip to the states. Once we got here both my mom and dad worked two jobs just to be able to afford living here. They didn't get any handouts, they didn't get any pre paid visas, and we had to figure out our own place to live as well, no assistance with that. If it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm not. I'm proud of the struggle, which is why what's going on today makes me sick to my stomach. Thank you Texas for being a shining example
