Thanks for watching! Debbie's info is below if you want to follow her on TH-cam, Instagram, and Facebook. But I also wanted to say THANK YOU to the hundreds of SUV RVing viewers I met this past week at the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous in Quartzsite, AZ. It was so fun meeting all of you, but I also loved that a bunch of you finally got to meet Cassie (and Bowser) in person. Aren't they great? In other news, we still have one more video from the October Alaska trip left to post, and that'll be next week's video. (Spoiler: Nevada.) After that, we'll get into the more recent Arizona vids. Anyway, here's Debbie's info: ** TH-cam: www.youtube.com/@LadybugLandings/ ** Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089507227020 ** Instagram: instagram.com/ladybuglandings/ ** Her other TH-cam channel that she mentioned, Debbie Mayberry: www.youtube.com/@debbiemayberry3260/ And don't forget that links to a few of the things Debbie shows in the video are in the description. I met ladybug out here in Quartzite too. I also met you, Cassie and Bowser at the RTR and so happy I did! You’re as great in person as you are on your videos. wish it hadn’t been so busy I could’ve talked your ear off lol and heard about some of your adventures in more detail 🌹Rose
Wow! Very inspiring! Did Debbie remove her seats? I don't have my adventure vehicle yet...starting my shopping process in the coming months...I would definitely want an area I could sit upright in the back area. With her setup, it doesn't look like you could sit up in bed. Tough choice, for me...minivan or SUV. There are pros and cons to each. 🤔
I can't sit up in my bed, either. It's a choice I had to make so that I have space underneath for more stuff, like my water jugs and my potty. The only place I can sit upright is in the driver's seat and right behind it. I'm basically sitting on the floor, though sometimes I'll use my folding step stool.
Wow Debbie! You really have made a great life support for yourself and you can still think of and be kind to others. I'm inspired by how minimal your stuff is while having abundance of food, water and power. 🗽
I love Buick Rendezvous! We have had 3. It's too bad they don't make them anymore. My 2004 is still going strong. We have a tent that attaches to the rear hatch.
Re-watching a couple of your old videos doing some sketchy 4th or easy 5th class climbing. You say you’ve been climbing for 20 years plus. Have you practiced any of the different rope protected ways to solo climb? Dean Potter being a good example. Yes he died, but not from solo climbing. Just a thought, a short length of rope with some basic pro can sooth some genuine fears.
❤ I understand your presenting alternate lifestyles and RV homes. BUT!! I look forward to your latest travel video on Saturday watching drinking my morning coffee. I'm disappointed today.
Hmmm. For every person on Disability welfare there are 500 workers doing jobs they don’t like to fund those payments. It’s not free or a windfall and should be very temporary to get people back to a state where they are contributing to others’ disability coverage. Not impressed with this traveler’s scam.
such a lovely cozy build! but please... repeat after me FROZEN FOOD IS NOT FRESH ... It is homemade frozen food which is probably 100x better than the frozen crap in stores but it is NOT freshly made... it is FROZEN and when stuff is frozen "fresh" can no longer be used.
Colorful just remember bright and colors in the natural animal world typically means toxic, poisonous and something to avoid! Take a shower Tristan. :)
Another old person on 'disability' When you are not up to working full time, oldies these days get on disability and have a pretty decent income between that and social security. I am NOT one of these people. I have a disabled sister who I have watched struggle her whole life. A REAL disabled person. Most of those old people I know are doing the same thing . Whatever floats your boat I suppose.
You don't get disability AND SS at the same time. You're on disability until you switch over to SS. If you've been on disability, your monthly payment is already much lower than if you'd been able to keep working and accruing credits with the SSA and then started SS payments at retirement age. Therefore, she's most likely not living on much money each month.
@@itllbesuzanarchy SSI and SS are different. NOT SSI for those who have never worked and paid into the tax system. SS stays the same..you can also work after age 65 and make up to 14,000 $ without it affected your SS NOT SSI SS Two different programs
@@matildagreene1744 I stated disability (SSDI) and SS (meaning retirement benefits). You're the one bringing up SSI. 😂 You cannot get SSDI and retirement benefits at the same time. Fact.
She’s not sad! Many people chose this. Bob Wells writes and speaks about the difference between choosing it and being forced into it. For many who chose it they absolutely love it. I’m choosing to travel again starting this spring. I’ve had campers. In the spring I’ll be in my SUV. I’ll still have a home base. I’m absolutely beyond excited to hit the road again. I’ll have an outdoor shower. Portable toilet. Portable fridge/freezer and propane stove and oven. I’ll have an outdoor set up. She makes it clear she is super happy and she says “This is my life and I love it.” I’m guessing you didn’t stumble upon this video by mistake. Check out Bob’s work (CheapRVLiving) for the difference between homelessness and choosing the adventure.
@Brenda-es3gw I appreciate your response, and I do understand the difference between those that love it, who are generally self sufficient and have the ability and can afford a permanent home base, but many do not and are stuck. I’m currently homeless and living precariously. I don’t mind living out of my vehicle, but a home base would be preferable. ✌🏼
For you it would be sad. You’re not that kind of person. For people like her, and me, who choose to live out of their vehicles, it’s an amazing life. I’m sad for all the people in homes sitting on their couch wasting their life watching tv and being brainwashed by the news and whatever idol - famous person, politician, singer, business leader, whoever - they’re worshipping that month. They’re bored sheep living life through media and think that’s fine but this woman traveling, having adventures, living the life she wants is the one who’s sad to you. That’s mind blowing. Hopefully you’ll be in a place where you have a choice and realize greener grass comes with way more crap.
That other dimension that Shasta went to is called heaven. We read all about it in God's word the Holy Bible. God says he is the word, & the word is Him. :) Thnx B2 God. :) God Bless! :)

That was amazing. Bravo lady! Hope to be out there one day
Great video! Awesome van setup. ❤
I like the black out window covers & the idea of freezing healthy food.
Very nice setup!
How many people living in a 3500 square foot McMansion in the suburbs are as happy as she is?
Awesome setup!! Hopefully you can meet up with her again for a tour of her new minivan.
Thanks again for all your videos. I even let the ads play to the end.
Many blessings for your family in 2025

Wow, that's minimalism to an art form.
Great interview!❤😅
I think that nightstand could have come from my mother's house. She painted a lot of things blue in the 70s.
Nice set up

Not sure if this is a typo or not, but it says filmed in January 2024 (not sure if you meant to put 2025). Debbie is awesome btw!

I would love to find out how to be on disability and not have to see the doctor and take meds. I will not take them.

What is her disability?
Disabled?

Yes she said disabled.
So many people living on disability, geesh...

I make my own using organic ingredients.
Not sure why on disability, seems very capable to work a job to make money. This is why everyone on disability should be re-elvaluated.

Many colors are for attracting mates, or camaflage (sp?), not toxicity.
So casually rude and mean. You are someone Tristan would just love to know, right? :)

Sorry, 4x4s have no place in a car/suv/van/RV build.
the disabled in uk have to work for their disability - if they don't the gov sanction their benefits.
