This was a 2 night show, a Friday and Saturday with Cannibal Corpse. The crowd the first night was there for Cannibal Corpse but the 2nd night, Cynic fucking killed it! Stole the show for sure. My friends and I happened to see Cynic walking outside the venue and we all got their autographs. Still have that to this day!

Actually so many things about this band that are amazing, from back in that time, saw them with cannibal corpse in sd probably around this tour. One of the coolest things I remember is that the whole crowd took a breath and realized it was the cool female keyboard player doing the low vocals and crazy keys. Super amazing. They came out and said brother's and sister's, how are you? After a decent full grind first band. Just the best people. Can't believe that a couple people aren't with us anymore, cause they were progressive in every way. All groovy vibes people

Damn, such a tight band both in studio and live. Both the Seans will be heavily missed but they are rocking out in the afterlife together forever. Also, I’m sure there’s a reason for this, but why was Cynic billed with a band like Cannibal Corpse? Was it due to difficulties getting a tour with other bands? I mean, Atheist is in the same vein as Cynic and put an album out before them, so why not tour with them, or some technical thrash band?
@@JesseDavis95688 You're probably right Jesse. I know Jason Gobel has a Facebook page and interacts regularly with fans, so I'll probably ask him there too.
We were friends with Cannibal. Road Runner wanted to bill us with Believer and some other band. We were not happy with that line up, and Cannibal was about to go on tour and they offered us to tour with them. Thats how we ended up on the tour. We had some rough shows believe me, the Cannibal fans were not always to welcoming let's say.
Jason added so much counter melody and depth to Cynic. I love this band!❤❤
30 years and no other band sounds quite like them, Cynic is a phenomenal band, one of a kind.
35:10 a rare sighting of Sean Malone smiling. R.I.P. Sean and Sean. Thank you
...he wasnt often caught smiling... RIP
All hail to Sean Malone
❤️
Dude the sound quality is so fucking good! RIP Reinert and Malone! Wish I could have seen this band in concert!

good question sanjiv. it was probably a timing and label thing.

Rob Barrett who was in cannibal at the time was friends with cynic so I'm sure that played a part in it.

I’m confused, this is tripod footage right? The shots are different than the Berkeley footage that’s been around for ages.
theres 3 angles of the 6.25.94 show. that i know of. i shot this one, another guy, dan nicholson, shot another one, and bobby germain also shot one.
