The two top spots in my personal list of Most Annoying Hollow Knight Enemies are Great Hoppers at number two, and Primal Aspids holding the top spot. They appear in my nightmares.

For me, the award goes to Crystal Hunters for early game as it take 5 hits to get rid of them while on nail 0 😭 (I did not realise I could go to City after Claw, so I bought the lantern and headed to Peaks).
And to Primal Aspids for late game, of course :)

I too thought I hated Crystal Hunters, but after meeting Primal Aspids, I soon realised that what I felt for the Hunters was merely a mild dislike in comparison. Crystal Hunters only fire single projectiles and are too slow to inspire the kind of dread Primal Aspids do for me.

Just a tip, Descending Dark gives you tons of Iframes during its cast so better use it a bit more, it's hard at the start but latter you'll get better

I was also soooo convinced on my first casual playthrough that hornets voicelines were connected to the attacks she does... it took me about 10+ deaths to figure out its random xD
