I don't even play SC2 (used to play Sc and brood war) but you have a way of concisely explaining your thought process and and potential counters and what does what in such a way that it is immensely enjoyable. Cheesing noobs like me isnt fun, but these cheesing Grandmasters? It's like going to a standup comedy act! Cheers from Texas
I told myself yesterday that I was going to comment on your next video on your main channel that we really need another "Planetary rush to GM" series. Not exactly it, but yeah, fate.
Absolutely stellar content my man. These focused, intensely commentated videos are why I came to the channel. I know they take a lot of effort to make, but I'm so grateful when you do. Amazing games.
I don't know why he doesn't have 4M subs =)) Need more exposure I guess. Always a fantastic watch, especially in today's "environment" .... actually therapeutic at times. =)
Not only does he do PF Rush, Not only does he do 1 hour of it, Not only does he do a different PF Rush every game, He recreates the Alamo (29:45) stand of the century, from the original series. We don't deserve this man.
the game around 30:00 vs Zerg was my favorite. feel this was definitely a mistake by him of throwing so many lings against the planetary. i guess he should have made a few spines, took 3 bases and build higher tier units? im bronze league and proud of it, but believe i could have defended that better :)
@@sviatoslavkocherov6008 a few lurkers would have broken it out NP, and rushing them out doesnt take long. he also could have sent a drone to make a base far away. i think he was just encouraged to keep trying what he was doing since he almost got the planetary a few times, i think he thought the game was closer than it was. almost like uthermal not teching up made the zerg stagnate
34:30 I liked how just before this point, you were explaining why you send the helions with your ghosts since the queen can barely survive a snipe, and can thus get transfused. And then that exact same scenario happens...
That whole battle reminds me of the SC1 level (Desperate Alliance) where you're on a timer as Terran just holding out against wave after wave of zerglings. That planetary hold was like a "zoomed out" version of that entire level. Truly awesome.
That kind of content is Top Notch ! I always dislike the first few vidz 'XXX to GM' as you're only blasting through lower ranked players. But this ... This is fabulous ! Thx
there is one where you build 2 scvs before flying on top of their ramp with reapers for granates so you can land, then build factory and bunkers next to planetary.
Mark you are a god send my friend. any time that I am experiencing a sense of overwhelm, I can just watch you play starcraft and the world seems filled with a bit more joy.
37:21 115 kills is a minimum of 2875 minerals, assuming it was all lings. Each queen adds 125 minerals to that count (this video was before the v5.0.14 cost nerf) That's a lot of value.
Most episodes are a 9 or 10 out of 10, but this one is a very rare 11! It's that good, worth watching on half speed to enjoy the thrill for even longer!
In that game around 34m, you had idle SCVs on the front line that could have been repairing badly damaged hellbats. It's like the meme about pro terrans never repairing their medivacs... I'd love to see a series (or just a handfull of games) where you have SCVs near the front line to repair damaged units.
Maybe Blizzard will give you an upgrade in eBay (from perplexity) M.A.R.C. (Mobile Adaptive Reconfiguration Core) Mobile: Enables movement of previously immobile structures. Adaptive: Adjusts the structure's configuration to allow for mobility. Reconfiguration: Restructures the building's core systems for transportation. Core: A central component that can be installed in the Planetary Fortress.
I also want to pitch "from downtown to GM" - all three races allowed, emphasis on long range "from downtown" attacks - snipes, disruptors, storm, fungals, nukes. Feel like the clips would be endless...
I wonder if during that Vs Zerg game if you had gotten Hi-Sec Auto tracking, it seems like the extra planetary range wouldve been clutch, especially to cover for the bunker construction. might be too expensive though
A better name for the video would have been "there's no grater cheese". Love your conent especially the archon mode where you have a silver player building your stuff. I'd like to see more of those with different set of challenges🎉
I can't believe that zerg still GG-ed after what happened with that planetary 😂 It must be so frustrating to throw all those units into the fire and still have it survive

Yoooo didnt expect you to be here
What he said.
Planetary Distraction*
The PF hold at 29:50 alone was epic, but for it to remind me of the 1HP PF rush from the origianl series was *chef's double kiss*. GGWP Marc!!!

Now this is the perfect video to chill after work, thanks Marc for this masterpiece!
that zerg in the middle game is a legend for not getting salty against this
I'm confused why didn't he go for any sort of tech, at least roaches...
Then the next game you see how maxpax zerg deals with it no probelm.
@@sviatoslavkocherov6008 Maybe he got really confused. I'd say Uthermal might be the only player above metal league who planetary cheeses.

Man, I love your planetary rushes. The games are always so freaking fun to watch. Thanks for giving us a little taste again.

29:45: So many people talk about game of the year, but this is the battle of the century 🔥
And Mark microing and narrating at the same time is 🔥

@@edibleapeman good reference!
"This is where I build MY hatchery...." ..some of you are like "OF course it is......" gave me quite a big chuckle =)))) Bangin' as always.
Even after many great series with all races, unreal nukes games and plenty of shenanigans this video stands out. Class.
That kind of content is Top Notch ! I always dislike the first few vidz 'XXX to GM' as you're only blasting through lower ranked players. But this ... This is fabulous ! Thx
Indeed, this is far better content!
In general I agree with you, but sometimes I like it when the strategy is so ridiculous that Marc might lose.
You're a LEGEND for this!
This guy's enthusiasm makes it all so entertaining!
I like how uthermal is always trying new stuff. It makes these streams very interesting. Love the content. Keep it up!
The sheer joy that I felt after game 3, when I checked the length of this video and saw that it’s almost an hour. HHHNNGGGGG
The soundtrack of this episode must be Beastie Boys - Intergalactic
This is one of the most entertaining videos I've seen in a long time. Well done
That planetary/helion drop at min 9 was gorgeous. You make it look so easy!
"You mule drop for economy, I mule drop to repair my Proxy Planetary Fortress. We are not the same." lookin ahh, fantastic game
there is one where you build 2 scvs before flying on top of their ramp with reapers for granates so you can land, then build factory and bunkers next to planetary.
Lol that second game had me chuckling pretty good
the maxpax game was beautiful
I had a good time watching this video, thanks
Ayyyye main channel returns!!🎉🎉😂
You went absolutely insane in these games. The mental plays were incredible
Mark you are a god send my friend. any time that I am experiencing a sense of overwhelm, I can just watch you play starcraft and the world seems filled with a bit more joy.
Stay strong my friend :)

That's a lot of value.
That Zerg game was the most Terran thing I've ever seen! They could make a cutscene out of that
same thought 😁 full CGI epicness!
We need more of this! This was amazing 😀
Yussss, I love your Planetary rushes! Its been awhile from the Uthermal youtube channel
Most episodes are a 9 or 10 out of 10, but this one is a very rare 11! It's that good, worth watching on half speed to enjoy the thrill for even longer!
Most fun Terran Cheese of all time, please keep coming back to it xD

Loved the video Marc! Awesome job super fun
You make it look easy uThermal ! I realize it isn't easy. Not to most of us anyway. Is it easy to you? You make it look easy.
This is the most entertaining SC2 video I have ever watched
This episode is so insane and beautiful! Thank u Marc for highest of possible content!
Maybe Blizzard will give you an upgrade in eBay (from perplexity)

This is so wild and I'm only two games in. He is perfecting his art further
This is the video we all need. God bless
The first zerg went full berserk zerg. Chucking hundreds of zerglings on a planetary that he could've just ignored. Tower defense style
"my rallies haven't been very good which has been helping me a lot" lol
Excellent games, that first zerg game's planetary was a hero. XD
Here for the baboon play
🐒🐒
Agree with comments for another PR series - feel like each patch makes for new enough changes in comp and strategy. Thanks Marc!
I also want to pitch "from downtown to GM" - all three races allowed, emphasis on long range "from downtown" attacks - snipes, disruptors, storm, fungals, nukes. Feel like the clips would be endless...
Your games are like watching a game of football - constant action going on :)
I see pf rush I by law have to click, like, and comment.
Planetary rush returns! I loved that series.
This must have been Torture for your Opponents. I loved every second of it😂❤
Planetary having it's "Hero at the gates" moment against the zerg.
Harstem: "Are you trying to out cheese me?"
You can tell the PF is respected on the ladder because every opponent gg’d.
because it needs skill to pull off
Thanks for the fun! ^^
Tack!
How does he commentate on his own game while playing? Man is the master of multitasking
Every game? That confirms it. Planetary rush is the best cheese in existence!
Sexy ass run. Long time fan, this one is a banger. All Terran are creaming at your efficiency
I wonder if during that Vs Zerg game if you had gotten Hi-Sec Auto tracking, it seems like the extra planetary range wouldve been clutch, especially to cover for the bunker construction. might be too expensive though
its just 100/100 i think it would be fine at worse it would be one less ghost
on the edge of my seat watching an amazing display
As far as I'm concerned, PF rushing is the 4th race of SC and by far my favorite one
Popping off Marc, popping off!
Get rekt noobs. Awesome job brotha 🍺🍺🍻
Felt like one viking could have been good in the last game to deny overlords, but I guess the starport was making medivacs 24/7.
You know, I was just about to start rewatching your PF to GM series
@uThermal - love your videos thank you. 22:23 is this the time to start another CC and continue the PF rush?? More Planetary's please. 🙂
Now we need a planetary with siege tank range..
The legend is back! Thank Marc!
SHEESH that last 56 minutes flew by
A better name for the video would have been "there's no grater cheese". Love your conent especially the archon mode where you have a silver player building your stuff. I'd like to see more of those with different set of challenges🎉
Highly entertaining as always Marc. I wish I could pull this off.
I can't believe that zerg still GG-ed after what happened with that planetary 😂 It must be so frustrating to throw all those units into the fire and still have it survive
What a great set of games! Amazing commentary while playing. How does his brain do it?
Been a while since saw a uthermal video...
But planetary rush is still my favorite
dile al "doble ciego" que no "monetize" la AI, a que te lo ha contado "Ketrock"
Love to hear you are playing more normal games!
I need to see a Bongcloud in Post-Youth. And you need to do it. IT's just amazing to have a semi gold base as main! xD C'mon, be a silly goose.
MARC’s FACE @32:23 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite challenge, along with the bongcloud opening
Damn dude this one was a banger!
Do this challenge again! I could watch these all day
Great vid!
OMG You beat Strange with this!! GG
Nice bit of classic polonetary forotdss
this is revenge for all the cannon rushes
Marc's vibes are top tier.
When you take the base after you win with the plantery you should use the CC to farm the base you take.
@marc what do you think about "mouse only to GM" challenge?
okay that was pretty epic
I was promised an hour but you're three minutes and twenty seconds short. I was bamboozled!
Watch it again ;D
This one was a banger! ❤
Enjoying you cheese while eating some breakfast sandwiches with cheese lol.
Hi... one suggestion of name for next challenge: Karmarc. 😊
Wow incredible game against the first Zerg.... I would have loooooved to see the units lost
I cannot understand why he decided to make mass ling for 10 minutes against a PF. MaxPax showed the correct response I think
Well played !
Very cool. Nicely done.❤❤
when you moving CC dont disclose this by setting final destination, get it as close to their base first
This would be awesome in tournament play 🙆
Noice video Marc
the hellion drop version is savage
