Dr. Vivek Atray is a Motivational TEDx Speaker, Mentor, Columnist, Visiting Professor, and author of a very inspirational book - “Finding Success Within”. He is someone who has served the country for more than 26 years.
Vivek sir and I discuss the meaning of power. He believes power is something that comes from position, personality, fame, and being wealthy. He also shares his learnings from seeing people who have used their powers in the wrong manner. He thinks people in the position of power should reach out to the citizens to gain their trust and that will help change the perception of citizens towards officials.

Till India glorifies the IAS-IPS culture through such interviews/podcasts, we are still living in the era of British India. There is no country where people in civil services are glorified as in India, reflecting the colonial mindset. If they are so powerful and honest, what have they been doing for the last 70 years? We are still facing the same problems poverty, hunger, and education basic facilities not being available. Look at your neighbors Singapore, Dubai, and China where they are now

That's not there fault , it's a chain which stopped them to act, the chain starts from the public who makes their representatives then these representatives when becomes head of any department they are too head of these bureaucrats(IAS,IPS)
If we take an example, imagine a bill is passed of 1000cr for development of a particular area, the first hand which gets the money are these ministers, if this hand act honest, all the down chain act honest.

The actual policy formation is done by people elected by you and me who often times put pressure on these civil servants by the power granted by us . That makes us more responsible for the lack of development than anything else . But hey ,lack of accountability seems to be your forte

Bureaucrat is has changed mindset of Democratic nation
There are about 5225 active IAS Officers
India has created new boundaries within Nation itself
In my school Days India was with 29 states and 5 UT
when i grew old India always had new state with its own propganda
Thats not beauty of power is
India had rulers before Democracy established.
My ancestrals were the warriors who saved this entire nation. incomparison to current living we are not anywhere close.
Checking with rulers who are again segreated into 5225 division has their own way of doing bringing reformation change
We are weak and are receive commands at various levels and then they act accordingly that must not be the case.
Democracy has saved most corrupt people who has belongs from 20% (pareto)
Resources are of nations wealth and giving rights to use them is something not acceptable
Quantum of Solace will help you in understanding this.
India has seen Leaders, Warriors, Freedom Fighters all were not of same mindset some followed Ahinsa some were nationalist, some were communist but todays govt is run by Capitalist whether its USA or India
parking of funds is in common countries
Trade is between Developed nation to Emerging nation.
No nation want to be super power
else countries like Singapore Switzerland Luxembourg New Zealand Australia wont exist.
India was thoughtful at the time of Independent movement to curtail foreign goods and use Swadeshi Goods.
Now time has come to consider Defence equipments as Goods as over the years we have seen India always tried to be super power by getting things from rest of the world.
I didnt see my Maharaj importing or having bilateral trade
People who all are settled in foreign lands are all Foreign dieplomats then it can be CEOs or a student they all have more information than an IFS officer
    Get the necessary information
Why India needs Research Analysis Wing in year 2022 as top 5 companys CEOs are Indians
Dont they have some patriotism for their own nation left
No country in world would be with such resource serving other countries grpwth on full capacity
Indians are not pawns they are Knight Bishop Rook who serves his her Majesty
