    Nice informative video, thanks!
    Never caught a mullet and haven't float fished since the 1970's. Might give it a go as I hear mullet are quite hard to catch.
    I also wanna try for bass with prawns on float.

      prawns on a float is something I really want to do.. I have done it a while ago and it was good fun so I will have to try again and do a video for you.

    Great video as usual, Sam, production is pin sharp!
    Defo gonna give the mullet a go this year, bust out the old course match rod, mash me some bread, and chance my hand.
    Jay from Smash fishing REALLY rates mullet as an eating fish, even over bass he reckons, you not a fan? I LOVE all seafood and would definitely take a decent sized one to try.
    Keep up the great work, I would be amazed if your channel doesn't go interstellar in the very near future. 🤙

      @@FISHISLANDTV Well..... just in case you can't force yourself, I'll gladly give you my address, and you can post what you don't eat my way! 😁
      My dad's the same, most passionate fisherman I know, yet he can't stand the taste, texture, or even the thought of eating fish. Always felt sorry for him, I think the whole hunter/gatherer aspect of fishing is a BIG part of it for me, especially when I'm feeding the family too!

    Hi Budy, is match rod good for fishing mullets?

    • @FISHISLANDTV
      @FISHISLANDTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi matey
      it depends how sensitive it is.. you’d probably be better with a fresh water barbel rod or a light carp rod perhaps.
      A light match rod would be slightly heavy I’d presume for float fishing but if you were ledgering baits on the bottom with a match rod you might get away with it.

      @FISH ISLAND TV Rod who i want to buy is heavy 317 grams, is too much heavy or?

    • @FISHISLANDTV
      @FISHISLANDTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah thats a bit heavy matey i use for the float a rod between 10 - 45 grams maximum but ledgering can go up to 130 grams

    Hi friend, i have 1 question, is liquid aroma with with the taste of cheese good for mullets and gilthead bream?

    • @FISHISLANDTV
      @FISHISLANDTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello mate.
      I would just stick to plain white bread mixed with water as shown in the video for the thick lipped mullet.
      If you’re trying to introduce Garfish, mackerel & white bream on the feed you could add a fishy concoction to the bread mixture as well as trying fish baits rather than bread.
      iv had most of my Gilthead bream on worm & clam baits although they are known to take a bread flake bait now and then.
